We need more options than DJI. We cannot stand their geo fencing.

Agree and hate the be the bearer of more bad news, yet the reality is that's about to get a lot worse..... DJI have been working with a private company to offer DRONE FENCING to say, Universities, landmarks, Hotels, etc..... you name it, if you pay, then you can have PRIVATE GEO FENCING to literally anywhere and while that technology is not yet everywhere, it's on the way and currently being tested. I reckon we all have a year or two before DJI becomes it's own nemisis.

@@farzana6676because most quality electronic components are made in China or Taiwan so trying to source American made hardware at a competitive price is a nightmare and near impossible. Making a drone in America is easy but sourcing quality American electronics isn't. Currently working on an American startup making heavy lift drones and sourcing the electronics has been consistently the most difficult obstical so any recommendations on quality American made flight computers/controllers would be welcome.

I'm in the wrong channel I guess. Everything I've heard you talk about is thousands and thousands of dollars. Can you suggest a channel for those of us on the more realistic scale of drones? Like standard American user? I'm sure there's an audience for what you're talking, but with the amount of replies to your video, it's a smaller audience. Maybe think about not being so geeked out on the expensive AF models.

Your wrong on your specs! Autel Evo dual is a Flir 640 as I own one and it’s a American made thermal. Once I receive Autel smart controller DJI does not even come close to Autel period in foldable drones. And before you comment I am 107 licensed and have owned many DJI products and loved them, inspire 1 running xt 336 thermal, Mavic 2, Mavic zoom , phantom 4 pro.

I went with Autel nano instead of mini3 pro after my old original Mavic Pro was deprecated. I also considered the Skydio for quick deployment and tracking.

It's sad that America does not have the lead or a competitor on the drone market as we are the biggest market as we are far from being in a leader capacit... As with many and seems like most all other fields we have lost the capacity to manufacture for consumers ...

Low cost manufacturing labor is too high in the US, that's why US can't compete. But we should design and IP in the US and manufacture in Mexico.

I think the market for most drone owns in the US is the non commercial, so price is a concern.

Thank you for your analytics, especially the right side guy, is very professional and good talking. 10 years ago, I hated the Chinese government very much because of some conservative policies , and yearned for the United States, including American policy makers. Now I feel that the US government is similar to or even more conservative than the Chinese government on many issues.

It's feasible to have security focused requirements without restricting the nation of origin. I'm not even trying to get China in here. We have plenty of FRIENDLY countries that could contribute to the market and create REAL competition.

Take a look at how the Jones Act attempts to protect the American shipbuilding industry and get back to me on whether you think that will “promote” American drone companies. Protectionism is a dead end approach to economic development. American drone companies can promote themselves by innovating better products and lowering costs.

@@HylanderSB This is BS. Protectionism has done excellent for the American pickup truck sector. Protectionism has done excellent for Apple while Huawei phone sales have basically hemorrhaged. Protectionism and decoupling won the Cold War. When done right, protectionism works and it works well.

The tragedy in North America is that we priced basic wages too high to compete with foreign labour. This is why no company in US or Canada can manufacture to create a competitive price for the consumer market. However a company like mine is manufacturing and programming our own systems for our purposes but it won’t be available to the consumer. Only for our internal use.

It very hard to compete with communist tollatians slave labor camps and many people at bottom if paid is just paid enough to say they are being paid but it's just really a modern slave labor camp that pay people but a dollar a day still a modern slave labor as why communist don't need America like prisons because they just put people in these work camps who speak out against the Tolatarian control and of course there family's also threatened if they don't follow the Tolatarian control...Amazing Americans money has mad the communist tollatians the new superpower of world as Greed silence Truth

USMCA allows for design and IP in USA and manufacture in Mexico. Problem solved. NDAA will likely approve as market shifts that way. Currently NDAA approves South Korean (Sony) drones as well, so Mexico should not be a problem.

Too much u act like these drones ur talking about are so badass. Let me tell u I have been flying for 8 years using the same cheap drone taking amazing photos ,mapping etc. I get better pics tathanfolks with a 30,000 dollar drone. I make well over 200,000 plus a year. All u need to know are settings and how to adjust them. I also use a EXO drone.

Tried to watch your video, as I just recently got my 107, and saw the grants the gov put out dont include DJI. Your video is terrible, you ramble on endlessly instead of getting to the point. I made it 4:41 seconds before i had to turn it off.

When the battery was removed at timestamp 8:18 in this video, it seemed to me that the battery comes out to easily. In the event of a crash, the battery of this particular drone wont be there when you locate the drone.

Looking for cheaper drone to follow me on a ATV. We go through the woods with lots of trees so need collision avoidance and don't want to spend more than $200 to $500 range. 4K would be nice. Any recommendations?

Save your money until you can afford a better drone. DJI mini 4 just recently released. Super compact drone. Doesn't require remote id, has 360 degree obstical avoidance and long flight time plus if you get the insurance they will replace the drone if you crash it. It's between $1000 & $1300 but nothing in the $200-500 range will do what you want. The DJI mini 4's intelligent subject tracking is top notch. The autel nano would probably be the next best option which is more American made if that matters and may have comparable performance but I'm not familiar enough with that drone to give an informed opinion on it. Skydio has an autonomous drone but I don't know if they still sell it as they are getting out of the consumer market and I also don't know how it stacks up against the other two I mentioned but I haven't heard too many great things about it. Hope this helps.

DJI ane Autel dominates all...anything that is blacklisted by the US govt means they don't like competition and have the better product...ex: DJI & Huawei

I think those saying flys like a boat are likely FPV pilots that used simply used to a craft being so much more responsive. Most commercial drones were never intended to be used in such a way. In a commercial use case id rather have a flying boat that is more stable in flight better suited for a given application. Fly FPV race or freestyle on the off time... Id love to see more competition in the USA against all the Chinese-knock offs.
