In my opinion as an owner of this amp, you will enjoy it but in the next 1,5 or 2 years you will get bored of it cuz you will have more experience of how a guitar actually sounds and you would want to go with something more non digital
Very good recommendation tbh. I got the boss katana 2 years ago cause just being lazy I picked the amp cause I heard you could load presets. I didn’t realize that I was gonna have to plug it into my computer every time I wanted to change settings on a patch and I hate having to do that. Having all those presets loaded on already is much more convenient and like you said, saves the initial pain of having to throw down money for pedals. The katana is still a decent amp but I would’ve much rather preferred this when just starting loll
I'm relearning guitar in my late 30s and this amp is just great generally. You can still put your mess of pedals in front and it acts like the modeled amp would irl. It could use an effects loop for those of us a closet full of pedals who want to use the amp models but who can complain at the price.
Respectfully, I prefer the Marshall Code 50. It's not only great for beginners, but you will definitely use it for the rest of your life. And, you don't ever have to buy a single pedal because it duplicates everything from Hendrix's sound to Clapton's! I am a professional player, and I have a very extensive pedal collection. I have not used a pedal in over two years!
@@lueguitar I'm sure you can demo one at any guitar center. Trust me, this amp doesn't disappoint. You can also try the Code 25 which is smaller but also kicks serious tail - I have both. If I am not mistaken, I believe the Mustang LT 25 was Fender's response to Marshall's Code 25. Check it out. You won't regret it. It almost sounds like I'm getting a piece of the action the way I endorse this amp!
@@travelinman482 That's an odd question.... Is there a difference? I'm right handed and people have often asked me that question. I am now wondering if it's for a reason.
This is a very good amp, I can confirm. Never owned one but every time I've tried one, I've loved it. BUT I think an amp with less effects would be good, since if the player ever wants to buy a simple tube amp, they would have the pedals already and wouldn't need to spend way too much money on them.
I got mine used for $125 literally 3 hours ago and I already love it. It’s late so I’ll have to keep experimenting tomorrow but it’s definitely way better than my old crate 15
The Yamaha THR10 is also a great one for practice. But I honestly feel, IMO, beginners should get a 1 channel low watt tube amp and learn dynamics and create music without all the effects and stuff
Love this amp. But I'm no tech person I'm struggling to get clean sounds on open notes why in solo mode. Playing in drop c tuning so when I hit a string then let a open note ring it messes sound up how can I clean that up?
Will it actually add some rock rasp to my peacey raptor plus? Currently just using a 10 peavey practice amp. Very little settings. 4 knobs in total. No presets.
@quanlauncher thank u I've had the gt for about 2 years now and now that I've been performing a pedal would be useful to have to switch up the tones from a clean on. It does have a pedal imput on the back just idk if it works
@@breakingchad1925 the mustang LT25 has a footswitch input for any pedals and a regular input for any device using the same input as your electric, also has aux capabilities, a built in tuner and like he said in the video you don't even need pedals because it has a bunch of sounds prebuilt into it and if you plug it into your computer via usb it can open up the possibility of 100+ more sounds and amps to simulate from.
If your question hasn’t been answered you can connect a pedalboard to this amp. I use the Fender Clean channel and use this as a practice amp with my pedalboard so I can practice with turning pedals off and on during a song, or using a wha pedal while playing.
Sometimes there is a lot of feedback but at the right volume and distance away from the amp there should be no issue at all. I have used acoustics through it just fine.
Do whatever you like the sound of. The only knob you need to worry about with this amps is the volume knob. The amps does the rest of the work if you use the presets.
Hi! I love how You play! Hum.. i was thinking, would you recomend This Amp or The New Fender Mustang Lt40s?? This would be My first amplifier for guitar, cause i'm begginer but i would like to have a amplifier that be usefull for the future, and The effects, and wich one have more Volume, so, wich one you would recomend this?
