When I first tried a La Luna Temporada De Lluvias ancestral mezcal/tequila I was dissappointed. My mistake? Expecting tequila flavor like Ocho or G4 or Cazcanes. When I cleared my preconceived notions and just enjoyed the flavors it presented I was very impressed. It's mezcal-ish, but really kind of unique. I really enjoyed it on its own. I'm excited to try this special release by La Luna.
You nailed it! It's not going to taste like the usual bland tequila. Different flavors that are really unique and enjoyable. It really elevates Weber Blue agave. Thanks for watching.
2:05 like the story behind La Luna , I would like to try it but the only one I found it's with the blue label or black and found it at Total Wine and it's a bit pricey, can you do a test on this bottle and see if you recommend it like the one you just tried /
Sounds very interesting… I love the story, just that makes me want to buy this… a while ago I saw the siembra valles ancestral, but shied away from buying this due to not knowing if I would appreciate it for the price point. Also, haven’t really found a mezcal I really can say I enjoy… anyhow, considering this one, it does leave me curious after watching this video
@@TheTequilaHombre I think that's one of the justifications for the price of something like the Siembra Valles Ancestral. Wooden mallets is labor intensive. I can understand that affecting the cost to produce something. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with using a wood chipper, but does that really seem ancestral?
