I’ve just viewed the most prestigious automotive award ceremony of the year. The venue must have cost thousands to rent and the audience filled with infatuated admirers says it all.

LOL....I love when Mark mentioned the trophies clad in piano black plastic, they zoomed in to show all the finger prints and smudge marks. Pure gold. haha

So the Chevy Malibu didn't win car of the year again? Strange. Well I better call my bookie for next year's award....

I expected Mitsubishi to be the most uninspired brand but VW makes total sense.

Already put 20k miles on my elantra N . You guys were a big factor as to why I went with that outlier brand instead of subaru or toyota or honda. I have never disliked a second of being in my car and I thank y'all for providing the super technicals. Thanks for a good year fellas

I just have to say as a long time viewer, this channel just gets better and better. I was so excited to see this at the top of my feed! I would like to make a suggestion for next year. I think you guys should expand the awards out into more specific categories. Best full size pick up, best compact pickup, most affordable sports car, best of technology, best sub $50k car, etc. I understand you sort of did that with some of these but it would be really cool to see awards for the more niche aspects of the market. People who watch this channel, in my view at least, largely watch this because we are all car enthusiasts and love to see the different POVs and opinions from you guys on these cars. I also think it would be worth putting up on the screen the honorable mentions in each category It would also be cool to see a tier list between all of the major manufacturers in each major category, and why they're ranked that way. I loved the editing and the comedy in this. Editing is always on point but the fake audience was the cherry on top. Love you guys's humor and I can't wait to see what's coming next year!

Honestly i was so Glad you choose the Pilot over the Telluride. I personally think the Pilot looks good and Modern. Most other reviews still after 3 years on the market TELLURIDE TELLURIDE TELLURIDE-over rated at this point.

I didn’t disagree with any of the awards they gave. I think it is a great assessment of the current automotive market. I think 2024 is going to be an exceptional year for new cars. Hopefully they will get to test a Gordon Murray T.50 sometime. That seems like the ultimate internal combustion engine vehicle that will ever be made. There is also supposed to be an upcoming Tesla Model 3 Ludicrous that will completely change what a sub $60k sports sedan can do straight from the factory. Great job on all of the videos. You guys do excellent work.

is Mark’s “don’t take this too seriously” line a peek into how he is viewing the work now? I felt he was kind of over all of the youtube life BS only a few months ago but he seems to be a bit lighter now. Good to see!

I think everyone knew the pilot would win best suv. That thing is just all around wholesome and reliable. And the I-vtm4 system just gives a level of confidence that no other japanese/korean/american brand gives. Also the best value for what you’re getting when compared to the euro competition

Thanks for another great year of the best car reviews on RU-vid. Lately I only watch Savagegeese and the Car Care Nut. It seems like other channels focus on superficial surface BS and are afraid to speak their mind about crappy products. Keep up the good work and keep putting sandwich meats in the doors.

My only problem with the Prius is that the interior space is vastly smaller than a Honda Civic Sport 6MT. However, I think a hybrid powertrain would be a must for a new vehicle purchase. I don't see myself wanting to hear a CVT drone and not get substantially better fuel economy. I don't see myself wanting to daily a manual transmission either. Why would I want to shift from 2000 to 1200 rpm on my daily commute 3 times in a row to get up to speed at every single stop light and still spend 2x on fuel vs a hybrid? That Honda Accord powertrain is the best on the market, if Honda brings it to the Civic at the same price as a Prius I would buy a new vehicle.
