@@ukrandrNo I 100% agree, that's the most human-acting animal I've ever seen (other than actual humans of course), it was waiting for the right moment as the guy was moving around and it had such concentration in its eyes
Pinky the “very loving cat” is an internet legend. Literally one of the first internet vids that went viral well before viral was even a term. That and the jumping lizard have been busting my gut with laughter for over 25 years now. When I see that dude react to that lizard jumping on him, the tears of laughter just roll!!! 🤣🤣🤣
4:43 *news reporter has egg* Ostrich:you have my egg mam Other ostriches: WHY YOU HAVE HER EGG *news reporter* go away! Me: you can’t tell an ostrich to go away
It was still her ass that distracted the little girl handler from leading the stud pony away from the unreceptive mare, then accidentally trapped her in a place to get kicked repeatedly.
When I was that age I was leading around fullsized horses, but I do agree that a child should not be controlling a mare in heat or a stallion (or gelding with stallion like tendencies towards mares) without direct supervision, regardless of size. All the adults were wrong here.
I got the impression they were suburban/city kids at a fair that let children interact with farm animals. Like, they never knew what their way around Shetland Ponies or horses to begin with, which is why I'm much more critical of the adults.
Christ I was exactly 3 years old and walking a 15.3 hand horse. I grew up on a yard and we had chickens and pigeons and two horses (them three. A beautiful Irish draught at 17.3) but my mum let me do it. She’d be next to me since the gelding was a temperamental wee bastard. Loved him to death but he could kick you and bite and headbutt within a second of his signals. You just had to be quick enough to see the signal. But she’d walk side by side as I lead the horses. Sometimes one in each hand when I got a bit older. However. You could not pay me enough to handle shetlands. Those wee buggers are nippy as hell and pack a punch. So putting the young girl in charge of it as it’s evidently a bit hyper, next to the gelding/stallion/mate who is also hyper, in front of a news caster. Just asking for the child to be dragged/reared at/ bucked at/bitten at/shoved. The adult with the G/S/M should have moved further away to allow the mini to settle. But she was confident holding the horse and clearly done it before. But with all the hubbub it probably spooked. No point bubble wrapping children. I was bucked and reared and bitten at and I never for a second think of that as terrifying. It’s a major part of my love for my childhood. And I had a rooster who was way scarier 😂
She was in the middle of her piece to camera she probably just wanted to get it finished, time is money in news but they will insist on using animals and it inevitably goes wrong cos animals don't give a damn about TV deadlines.@@hannahmeaker4595
@@TheGoowolf - Depends on which animal. Predators, definitely. Prey animals, not so much. Turkeys and other fowl generally are just defending their nest or their territory and they can't really hurt you that much. No need to panic and run.
*cat does a menacing growl* 3:17 “this little guy is having fun” Then she acts surprised when he scratches her. What type of cat makes that sound when they’re happy 😂
I can see why you say she deserved it but that's a bit unfair. She was doin her job and was obviously not familiar with cats. If anything it would be her producer that "deserved it". Having pets is a weird thing. We can't expect people to understand animals. It's an unnatural relationship.
@@respectfulgamer7232 Sure. I wouldn't say she deserved it. No certainty that the producer had anything to do with it either. Sometimes it is the reporter that creates the environment for the story. Unfortunately the cat started "playing up" once the camera was rolling, so there was no going back for the reporter. Hold on to the cat and hope it doesn't react. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it ... well, you saw the video.
Probably just wanted petting. My mom had a pet turkey and he would run up and just want to sit in her lap and be petted. Geese are the evil birds to be afraid of.
