Best Anime Moments - Haruyuki defeats Seiji

In the Light Novel, it doesn't say how fast he was going, but it makes one thing very clear: IN THAT ONE INSTANT, HARU HAD REACHED "a movement speed that no other avatar had attained since the beginning of Accel World." THINK ABOUT THAT. XD

Most satisfying end to a villain ever!

It was definitely nice for once to have an anime where the hero says "You know what, FUCK YOU, I'm not sparing your ass."

One of the best parts about this? Nomi will have no memory of this place, or of the game. This game that has caused so much hatred and strife to grow in his heart (a lot of it because of his brother), and its basically been cut out of his life. Accel World was the cancer, and Haru was the surgeon.

When I first saw this I found it cool that he didn't only use his natural wings he just got back but chose to even use the gale thruster in combination with his wings to get even more speed than he would with his wings only.

This was the most satisfying end to a Anime villain that I have ever seen. Kudos to the creator of Accel World, this piece of shit got everything he deserved in the end.

Had Haruyuki kept the Gale Thruster, he would easily be the most OP duel avatar in Accel World.

Is even more impressive when you realize that Dusk Taker was at full HP thanks to the Citron Call from Lime Bell Crow straight oneshoted the guy (almost hehe)

Haruyuki desires freedom more than anyone else due to his constant bullying and him lived in a broken home family, so the acceleration world gave him wings so that he can fly. Taku is a close range avatar but was given a ranged weapon, the pile driver. Symbolizing his fear and hatred towards those who toyed and hurt him in his Kendo Club. Chiyu really treasured the time where Her, Haruyuki and Taku were really best friend. When Haru's family broke apart, and his bullying started, their relationship was dwindling, almost broken. So her duel avatar gave her the power to rewind time. So if we considers the power of duel avatar came from the person's trauma, then Kuroyukihime's avatar Black Lotus, was given the power to cut and severs anything because her true nature as a loner and distrust towards other people. Maybe in the past she had an experience where she lost trust towards other people or she might be betrayed by her friend or family, that's why she refuse to form a bond or severing ties with others, hence her duel avatar doesnt have palm to hold onto something.

I hate villain like the guy who lost, they came in pick a fight thinking it's a sure win. A true fighter accept the consequences of losing before the battle, trying to fight without stake is the same as being a coward.

Doesn't matter how powerful you are. To me, if you go down begging for your life after doing so much wrong, you're not just an asshole, you're a coward.

I watched this anime years ago when I was just a child. The only thing I can remember is when Harayuki was the first one to fly. I'm gonna have to watch this again since I never realized how beautiful the visuals are.

I always come back here to the comment section to reminiscence what pure hate is all about...the hate for Noumi is real brah.

Shame this never got continued in the anime. Think Silver Crow here was only like lv4 so can you imagine what a lv10 Silver Crow would be like, godly.

Man, Haru is a bada**. There is no mercy in a game. It's all or nothing. And looks like Seiji got nothing. Well, it's to be expected, but even then, still satisfying.

He also breaks down easily . . . but I guess that's why he can even fly . . . since the avatars are designed off of trauma, the stronger abilites usually come from those whose lives totally sucked.

I still come back here from time to time. That last hit was something else, so satisfying yet so powerful, never seen anything like that before in other animes.

The best part is when the villain is defeated and his last moments are him pitiful cry out for mercy just to be killed. Villains like him get a thrill from killing pleading people so to receive the same treatment is karma at its finest. And the satisfaction! My god

Kirito was op as fuck and nobody really cared. But, since Haru is fat, he gets criticized. It's funny to see SAO getting all the glory, when AW is pretty much the same thing.

This is probably the only anime that make me actually hate the villain and wanting him to die, in their previous fight when chiyu heal him i legit felt my heart shattered

Just finished this anime today and wow it was amzing from the start! All I want now is a second season, this anime deserves it for sure.

Noumi was effectively stabbed in the back by Chiyu just like how he stabbed his brother in the back.

Even though he was a dick, I can't help but feel a little remorse for Noumi. Growing up with a abusive older brother who made him work like a slave both IRL and VR, there was literally no escape from his pain. Every day he had to work for his brother in giving him burst points or he would face getting beaten up. Their parents probably never even cared about their kids and just brushed it off as "Roughhousing." Now that I think of it, every single brain burst player has a rough life either dealing with abusive families or trauma, Brain burst seems like their only escape from their harsh realities. Maybe that's what the Research society is doing. They are trying discover the creator of Brain burst without reaching level 10 so they can keep their power well into their adulthood, as Noumi had done. I think that the creator is too smart for them though and could be right under their noses. As Kirito once said "There's nothing more boring then watching another person play a RPG." He could be burst linker himself **h********* ***g**

When a person has done terrible things, relishes in the despair his power brings, yet still cannot see that his ways are wrong and instead believes that it can save him, what else can you do in this moment? Forgiving him cannot do justice to the people he's hurt, and locking him away is equally as cruel as he clearly is a glutton for punishment. As such, the only way to "save him" is to "end him". Man, such a dilemma and it was handled perfectly here.

Here were my reactions :) : Lime Bell's betrayal: "DAMN IT WOMAN! WHY?!" The "plot twist": "Ohhh... Nomi is gonna get whooped... hard" Pathetic begging scene: "I've seen enough stories to know what happens; they're gonna spare him and he grows a new leaf. Or he betrays them. Though I doubt there's much he can do with just his upper bod-" Execution: "... Wait... Did that just happen?" I'm glad about it. Not only was it new for a protagonist, but that little piece of turd deserved it.

this Anime really needs S2....its better than SAO honestly..I want more of Kuruyukihime.

I don't know why everyone is complaining that Haru is fat. Lets face it, there are fat people in the world. Shocker I know. Lots of fat people play video games, another shocker. Personally I like the change. How often is the protagonist a fat guy. Let them have one. Also comparing this to SAO is dumb. Completely different. Go watch Log Horizon and see which one is more like SAO.

Even in the end I'm sure Seiji still refused to believe that his selfish underhanded actions are what led to his permanent loss of Brain Burst.
