@@opeyemiishola654 Your initial thinking is alien to Islam because Allah gave you understanding of what is right and wrong and hiding behind qadr to do what pleases you, as opposed to what pleases Allah is completely unacceptable in Islam. That is why I quoted the above verse Ahzab 33:36 (It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision: if any one disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path). If you are unaware that an act is haram you may have an excuse, but simply because you like something, you seek to convince yourself that it can be made halal, in the name of remembering Allah, even after clear evidence has been provided, then you are simply rebelling against the law of Allah and His messenger PBUH. The Subject of Music has be to studied according to the Quran methodology not Hadith Methodology which you claims are from our beloved prophet. Secondly Look at words according to Quranic lexicon and not according to Arabic lexicon. Our beloved prophet will never say music is haram because Music or Musical instrument doesn’t or will never have wrong impact on the majority of people because it’s your free will.
