@@Stratilex the path might be slightly different for your phone, but for samsung, go to phone Settings>Apps>Choose Default Apps>Opening Links then find RU-vid Vanced and set it to open in that app...you might also need to go to the regular RU-vid app if you still have installed and set it not to open links
Watching on my Mi11, and I have to say, almost everything here Xiaomi has taken care of. I'm really impressed with this phone, recommend it to everyone!
@@gabrielmajin5265 im more of a Sony fan and user (used to use Sony Xperia X8, now use Sony Xperia L3), but my friends have Xiaomi phones and they seem nice.
My fav apps ( not Avalon on PS) 1. Gcam port (obviously) 2. Lawnchair 3. Xda labs 4. Videoorder 5. RU-vid vanced 6. RU-vid musical vanced And some more apps
Re Google recorder app. If you want transcription you need version 1.0 not 0.5 as mentioned in this video. This version has a square icon, the other versions have round icons so it's easy to identify.
I am able to install the 1.0 but I can't install the latest version even with apkmirror. It says the verification didn't succeed. Do you know what can causes it? The newest version can transcript other languages and I would love to use it for learning spanish
Mann! You have the best content for Android users I've ever seen! This video simply made me download every single one of the apps, I loved all of them! You're a great content producer, keep up the great work 💯
Just stumbled across this video, and while it didn't teach me a thing (seeing as I had almost each on of them already) I do believe you are worth sub'ing to and it was enjoyable to watch. It seems there is not a lot of content creator's that do this kind of thing (for the off playstore reviews) keep it up
@@Mikein203 (and content creator) there are absolutely so many tweaks and changes that can be done and made, this most likely could become a weekly thing, have your introduction to a list of apps like you did in this video & then dive into what each app/module can do in detail. I mean yes places like XDA & GitHub can explain how to install and use (especially those difficult ones, like viper4android) But I'm sure you have run into, asking a noob question and then getting ridiculed so badly that you almost never ask a question on that thread again (basically just lurk) hoping someone will ask or deal with the same thing you needed answered & some how they asked with the secret handshake code that it gets answered! You are never going to get it all perfect for everyone, but having compassion for the noob, is a thing that is sorely missing from the custom android world
0:09 my thoughts ? Awesome, way more original and unique as a viewer definitely prefer this, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t like the backdrop I just feel like it’s nicer with the desk setup in the background and a lot more space behind !
Hey there, content of your post is so interesting and worth watching, by the way if I may suggest about an app that "force stop background apps" to save battery.😊
Hey Sam, Is there a way to use quickswitch or a similar thing for Android 11? I'm running Android 11 with the latest Nova launcher... Only missing thing is those smooth animations!
I have just subscribed and I'm excited and the content already. If you have any apps you can suggest for me for making my phone operate like super computer😂 please suggest them too
I see Dentex RU-vid Downloader isn't mentioned by other commenters. I use it daily to download news stuff before getting on the train where 4G connectivity is spotty. It can even convert the videos to MP3 which works out really well with a lot of standup comedy.
First time watching your stream. Like it very informative way better than once I watching past and currently could definitely use assistance with a lot information would love to do a video or duo with you to get more info
Bruh you need to add RU-vid vanced to get rid of annoying ads from youtube and youtube music. Also Cinehub is an amazing app to stream sitcoms and movies.
I used to be all about rooting phones when I had a relatively cheap phone you know the kind, the ones that always seem to be full of bloatware but nowadays I'm rocking a s21 ultra and it really seems to be able to do everything I want, and be set up exactly how I want. So nowadays I just don't see a reason anymore
I've had the Samsung A40 for 2 years now even that has the track skip using rapid double click of the volume button I used it all the time! I've just upgraded to the S20 ultra it's a whole new experience this device! I can't believe I've been using such a small weak device all this time it was a good phone still is still using it for casting features for home use and TV apps kodi etc! The bass and the vibration on this s20 is just superb! I'm using it alot more to watch videos just the the stereo speak alone are so good but yeah Samsung has that feature from standard
Feel that again when upgrading to an iPhone since you're viewing such videos but have to find an iOS RU-vidr like Brandon Butch for discovering new settings and iReviews for using Shortcut Apps like Tasker on Android.
I'm a senior and have no use for apps or photo's, I just want a cell phone which has good battery life and a speaker system which is loud enough for seniors which are generally including myself, hard of hearing that I can use without haveing to use both earbuds at max volum. All I can find are the dam cell phones with dozens and dozens of apps and speaker's so small I can't hear them.
Not even sure if my Huawei P Smart manages to keep up with these apps. The link provided showed more up to date phones so I guess I be the pity one to venture elsewhere for goodies.
Top 3 for me (apps that I’m gonna download right after watching this video) : 1) tap tap ( just really really handy and useful) 2) Bromite (privacy is key, and that ad blocking is just amazing) 3) Gcam port ( it would’ve been higher up in the list but cuz I’m familiar with this it’s not)
Most of those apps are not in the play store not because evil google doesn’t want to see them there, but because their installation requires modifications of system components which is not something that can be done via standart package manager
Could you make a video on rooting (no tutorial because RU-vid doesn't like that) and if it's still worth it? This video was great as always, thank you! Edit: oops, you already did, of course! :D still, what are some reasons to root your phone though? my nova launcher works perfectly fine and im not sure if rooting is worth it
Different phones have different root methods. The future of rooting doesn't seem to be great though, google had introduced something called Safetynet and magisk was able to somehow bypass it all these years, but now on newer devices this maynot be possible anymore. Google is forcing people to use android the way they want you to use it, so most apps will not work with root, i.e even with magisk in the future. However even then, rooting is always worth it if you value privacy, you'd be able to get rid of all google system apps from the phone and use some excellent root apps to gain extra privacy controls over other apps.
Hey, for us dummies that don't know wat rooting phone an other tech words u used, please explain wat they mean.. also, can u please make vids on unlocking an cleaning a phone with these google locks Sam locks etc.. thank you
@@tabiApo41013 Ungoogled Chromium Extensions has grown quite a lot. Kiwi is good too and I use it, its features are top notch, but (despite backporting the necessary fixes) it is still based on Chromium v77. We're nearly v90 now. Also, I believe Kiwi doesn't have picture-in-picture nor youtube background as I know Bromite does. (but RU-vid Vanced is better anyway)
I downloaded the recorder app. I have a Huawei P30 pro and a managed to figure out that at least version 2.0.3350 will install and open (any version above this wouldn't open) with 2.0.3350 you get the transcription and the feature to edit you recordings
I downloaded the Gcam but is it supposed to run in the background How do I access the features? I'm thinking this isn't running properly but I want to be sure!
