One of the many things i learned from John Meadows, RIP, is that the more your elbow drifts away from the body the less your lats working and it`s more traps and upper back
@@HypertrophyCoachyour Videos are by far the best knowledge for Training on RU-vid. I Was telling everyone in my Studio to watch this Chanel. Now i See everyone doing your exercises😂
Coach Joe, while I appreciate your nerd talk and deep dive about individual exercises, videos as these with a "clickbait -y" element will help many of your subscribers as well as bring in newer ones where you backtrack the workout directly give the exercises, their utility and your reasoning for them.
Joe is one of the best coaches in the world in my opinion, been watching for years, always great explanation with killer intensity just how it should be keep up the great work 💪🏻
found you through dr. mike. really really important stuff here. learned about the importance of the stretch from DR mike, but learn about how to select exercise that is heavier on the streth from you. you explanations on torque is an addition to the concept of focusing on the lengthening part of the movement - not only do we have to slow the eccentric and focus on the lengthened position, but also we gotta pick exercise profile that emphasizes the lengthen part of the lift. So much value here.. thanks for teaching me physics.
The concept of the lat being integrated w everything else is such a mind blow for me. That's why I could never pinpoint them in the past. Also, you bringing up the fact that protracting during a press can allow for a more peak contraction on the chest. I've felt and done this w my training and didnt know if I was imagining it but that was validating. Thanks!
Warning to all out there who aspire for a huge ginormous galaxtic wide back :) you find clothes that fit your width turn out to be a 'bit' too long in the arms and waist, so find a good tailor to shorten your things when needed.
heh, never thought about doing the pulldown/pullover like this with the ropes and a bench. Want to try it now but the cable stations at my gym are like the busiest spot of the whole gym :/
Thank u so much fir your information, i have just a small think I'd like to see you point vue its about the hyper extension, i do it like this variation but i change just a small thing which is when i go down i contract my abs and keep round like u did and keep my head normal , then i try to turn down my head up amap when im going up it gave me more focus on my lower back .ill be so great if you gave me your feedback about that 🤝🏻
@HypertrophyCoach, is there ever a time you shouldn't elevate and protract the scapula on vertical pulls? If not, why? ( Looking for the nerd answer ).
He mentioned how he wanted her to go slower on her warm-ups than she usually would go. Haven't watched the full video yet but that might explain it. Otherwise, it might just be to ensure she gets everything out of the workout, especially on the eccentric
@@HypertrophyCoach, but do you think the goal is to try to do repetitions that slowly? Or does a slightly more pumping style of repetition work equally well?
Great video and she is gorgeous 😍 however I think the women divisions are going down the same road BB did in the 90’s when it became a mass race. The women are pressured because of competition and becoming too androgenic. Judges need to get control of this.
@@patriknn1 So...."she's" on tons of exogenous androgens, virilzed and a few cycles short of becoming a full blown dude. That's what he was saying. He was just being diplomatic.
It's amazing how you guys are supposed to be some type of training specialist when you do hyperextensions you do not have your back into an arch also you didn't include the steroids on performance enhancing drugs that she's on cuz you can see it in her body and head and her voice and that has a big advantage of building a big back or any other muscles
@---bu2ux Without the guests/clients who take plenty of exogenous androgens, this self indulgent silliness would fade away. "Hypetrophy Coach".....indeed.
