That last one has to be my favorite 😮 Excluding the Pye of course, they always win with me but that one is super close to me liking it more. Beautiful snake
I love bee's. Just absolutely love what the spider gene does. IDC how old or out of date they may be I love them. And that girl was just the bee's knees.😍😂
As much as I love that i got them for 100 each. It breaks my heart that BHB Reptiles is unloading everything at priced to sell because of Brian passing away. But I will breed the Puma female and Pastave Orange Dream male i got for 100 each from them to continue Brians Legacy as much as i can. I also have cancer and have for 10 years and watching Brian and then finding you really helped me in fighting for this long. But all that said I can’t believe how cheap i got those babies since your best cheap snake was a ghi for 150 two years ago
I got a 2019 female mojave hypo for 300. She's lovely and the hypo brings out such iridescent silver tones. Every time I take her out I am impressed. Unlike other morphs that get kinda dull as they grow she has remained bright. Thinking about getting a het hypo mystic ghi male to make potions and ghi mojave hypo. Or a mystic lavender to start hypo lav hets
Yep, buy a "morph" female and they have short lives. Buy a standard male, and there is no need to feed them once a week. No scientific proof that force feeding does any good....
MY pied cost 550 and had a spooky jack o lantern pattern, and I got her from a friend who bred her, and tbh worth it, her tempermant and pattern was amazing, and i always get asked when i bring her to expos with my friend if she is for sale
THANK YOU for this channel! New to Balls...Been Breeding Uromastyx and fell in love with these living paintings recently! Really appreciate the advice as I get started!
I didn’t know that spiders was such a touchy subject. I had a breeder/seller get pissed off at me just because I said I wasn’t interested in spiders(in a nice way) after he tried to sell me one. He took it as a personal attack for some reason. I’m particularly into the clown variations.
I didn't get pissed, but I do want proper information to be out there. If someone has that and still doesn't want spider, I'm cool. Or if the look just isn't there jam, I'm cool with that too
100 percent agree with spider. Imagine if it took two recessives and acodom to make, it would be the hottest morph on the market. A good single gene spider is extremely hard to beat. Now if you want to add then ya a good reduced pastel spider calico can be nice but I'm not a fan when the pastel adds the dots inside the spider pattern which is why I often think spider alone can be more vibrant and high white then 95 percent of the bumble bees I see on morph market and the fb pages.
I had to watch this dudes videos when I got my first ball python to have the nuts to hold it. I’m not afraid of snakes. Them bites are just to fast to not be a little shook though 😂😂😂😂
I have a regular ball python right now im pretty sure its a female and id say maybe 5-6 years old, only paid 30 dollars for her at a reptile expo cause i couldnt stand seeing her in one of those circle containers candy comes in and she had snake mites so i knew i could give her a better life than the guy who was selling her.
I found your channel a little under a month ago and have been watching 3 and 4 year old videos. I'm planning on joining the Patreon this week. Are those old videos still on there like they are on YT?
Most people buying bps aren't going to spend a bunch of $. It doesn't make a lot of sense to buy and breed super expensive morphs, since you can only really sell them to larger breeders. That severely limits your potential customer base. I have 3 that were all $400 or less that i plan on breeding.
What’s so funny to me is I wouldn’t spend that on a designer dog even a dog breed I really like but when it comes to balls I’m tempted lol😂 some of these are so pretty I’m getting my first ball an enchi Russo and knowing some of the combos that I could get with the right female is always in the back of my mind lol
Only thing I would change is add Ivory for looks AND breeding potential. You get awesome looks, then add a Pastel ,some other yellow belly complex animal, you're in freaking business.
holy jesus christ, seriously? Very begging of that segment says you are dealing with the spider gene, so you need to know about that. Do I literally have to say wobble every single time? 90% of the people spewing crap about spider have zero clue what they are talking about, and bunches of them think super cinny (panda pieds, etc) are cool (when a high % of those babies require being culled). Every time I sell a spider I talk to the customer about it. Every single time. Here we spoke about it, and we just didn't say the word "wobble" and someone gets all assed up. Seriously....
I got my pastel pinstripe female from BHB for $200, a normal pinstripe and im for real when i say this 1 penny, and i super pastel lesser het clown pas YB for $275.
Man it sucks that spider has balance issues (don't get me wrong I love Spider and have it in my collection) because it truly is one of the most impressive single genes and makes amazing combos.
I've been looking for a BEL. The first one you pulled out is exactly what I'm looking for. You said she just had a clutch and this video is 6 months old so do you have any available?
I gotta agree with you on the point of not having to spend a bunch of money per snake to get into the breeding hobby. I spent no more than $425 on my ballies, and can make some beautiful babies. Well, the snakes are gonna make the babies, I'm just being the match maker. I have a banana and banana pied males, and a pinstripe, leopard, and mahogany het pied females. I just gotta let the ladies grow a bit before pairing them up
You have suggested some beautiful snakes. My one female adult is Geraldine, who is a huge Mojave at 19 years old. She has last mated in 2019 with her mate Avi, an Arroyo Leopard who was the same age and passed away recently. Geraldine layed a clutch of 13 eggs. Do you think at 19 years old a female is too old to be bred again? I would love to buy a GHI adult male to try one more time. Geraldine is healthy and a good weight, although she rejected my other male who is an Enchi Butter, younger at only 13.
I can't stand watching people get ripped off cause somebody says it's something it's not. That's the real point here. You want somebody to charge you for something that's not worth it n it be ok
But......where hete is someone saying it is something it isn’t? If someone is lying about any product i would agree that is wrong. But, we aren't doing that. Neither do 95% of breeeders.
What are you talking about? If a reference to me, uummmmm not unless you know something me or my accountant don't know? If referring to something else, such as having these animals leads to bankruptcy I have no idea what you are talking about.
I can find pied for $350 all day. Same with BEL at $400. Bet they are around that on morph market now. Also, almost all shows. Kansas City, Florida, Chicago, st Louis, Denver, it doesn't matter. Retail shops. ... different story.
If it sells, then it is worth it. Just because you don't value something doesn't aet the value. I can't stand bmw's, but that doesn't make them worthless, just not my thing. Same for you here.....your opinion does not set the value. Now, maybe no ball python is worth $20 to you, and hey, thats fine.
We all have our own opinions, Paying for these color morphs are no different then other hobbys and animals. That's why you have the option to go along with the market or move onto something else you feel your money is worth
