Ignore all the whiners who complain about pausing during the solo, if we just want to hear the song we can watch the video, the whole point is to get your reaction. I would recommend rewinding to the start of a solo if you do pause during, just to get the full impact of it, but otherwise pause and rewind to your hearts content. Blooming kicks all the ass, still my favorite BM song.

Pause right in the middle of a solo and then go FORWARD (it'd be hilarious). 😂 Next song by The Maids? Go to their main RU-vid page and throw a dart at your screen... (wait...don't do that). "Secret My Lips" is awesome, but so is everything else. I saw in a previous comment that Asterism "Rising Moon" - mv was recommended. That's another REALLY good band and a REALLY good song. One of their best and a perfect example of one of my favorite occasional traits of theirs; a genius post-solo bridge that is good enough to be its own song. Most bands simply use a bridge to slow things down and is more or less meandering filler there simply to regroup before going into the final chorus. On occasion Band-Maid upends the entire song with a hook that most bands would save to make its own song and instead they stick it directly in there and get a feel for this great new sound then somehow blends it back into the rest of the song into this seemingly disparate but oddly cohesive and beautiful mashup of two separate ideas together until the end. It's an absolute mastercraft of music composition.

hello....speaking of stopping in the middle of solo's....there is a T shirt out there that says " Shut Up Kanami's Speaking". Kanami is the lead guitarist. This song is a masterpiece of Kanami's writing and performed flawlessly !!!!!! Check out Moratorium Live. awesome

I agree with everyone else. It’s not really much of a reaction channel unless you do pause and react and offer your input. Do what you want!! Also no, there is no bad song. They are the most consistent band I have ever heard of pumping out amazing song after amazing song.

You are right about there being no bad song from them. They are awesome. My second favorite band as been Trident since they were known as Girls Rock Bank Kakumei (GRBK for short). They are more of a punk/hard rock band. Spoopy is my go to song for them. If you want to see them when they were still GRBK, then Utopia or Voltage are my suggestions.

Good one Brewtiful. We (mostly) don't mind pauses except in solos. But if you do , just go back a bit. Another beautiful solo, try Daydreaming Check out some of their acoustic stuff to see different setups of the band. 2,3 and 5 member songs.

0:38 this is your channel, you do what you think and feel you should do. don't pander to maidiacs who go overboard with their admiration. the 'shut up, kanami's speaking' is just a fond joke about her musicianship. it's just too silly to think some people ran away with it like a precious loot. discover the special things about the band and their music and enjoy it as much as we do -- that's the most important thing.

Like everyone should be saying. Run your channel the way you want. Pause when you want to. If you need to pause during a solo, no one can complain if you roll it back to the start of the solo and start it again from the beginning of the solo.

As an old white male, I love Band Maid. Like many old geezers like me. What we need younger generations, especially female, to recognize and spread the word about Band Maid's talent. This group of five talented, intelligent, and beautiful young women can rock you as well( and better) than many male rock groups. That needs to be celebrated. I hope you get a chance to attend one of their concerts. They are even better live.

There is no other band out there currently that produces Awesome music consistently like BAND-MAID. They have more "seek out" songs than anyone other band. ONSET-LIVE, PLAY-LIVE, REAL EXISTENCE-LIVE. There's over 100 more where these come from. Peace. 4.38

You're doing fine, just please rewind like you have been. :) Did you catch all 3 solos? The 2 guitar solos and the bass solo? And your favorite Band-Maid song is the last one you listened to. It happens to all of us. And the Director of the video I would like to shake his or her hand. I LOVE that interplay of light. And they are 5 parts of a whole package. Without all of them there is no Band-Maid. And they have over 120 unique songs, plus over 30 alternates versions of many of those songs, and I have yet to find one that isn't good. And there are many of their songs which are just as good, yet don't have a MV or LV. You can go to their channel and under the "Releases" tab go through their back catalog. I personally love "Freezer", "Moratorium", "Why why why", "Brand New Road", "Corrlaium", "Matchless GUM, "Unfair Game" and many of their older songs without a video. Seriously just pick ANY of them load it up and hit record on your camera. We will come to hear your opinion on them. As for MV's or LV's, again ANY of their videos on their channel will be a good one. Though the Live videos tend to be better.

Don't worry about pausing, I'd just recommend you back up after pausing so you can catch the full section you paused it. Besides, Band-Maid songs are pretty much all 'unpausable' if not interrupting a 'solo' is the goal ... they are all pretty much doing non-stop solo quality (but still managing to not overpower the song) music in the background if you listen carefully.

In my opinion you should pause when you have something to say. I never understood the unwritten rule that someone shouldn't pause during a solo. It has become cliche'. As long as you go back and start from the beginning of the solo everyone should be appeased. I was looking forward to hearing what you thought about certain parts. Reactors should be allowed to react. If not then we are just watching someone watch the video. As for the song... I mean it is an awesome song from an awesome band!

I agree that if you haven't heard/seen the Daydreaming OMV, you should. Dice, Domination, Influencer and Unleash!!!!! OMVs are great too. If you want to get a bit saucy, go way back to Don't Let Me Down OMV. Official Lives Real Existence, Play, and the live acoustic of Sayonakidori. And we haven't even talked about Band-Maiko, or Cluppo, or Saiki's Pee Break...

Pausing is fine, if you go back. It's the people that talk over solos that the T-Shirt, "Shut Up! Kanami Is Speaking.", was designed for. It's because she sings so very little. It's about the only time she gets to express herself. As for where to go next? That depends on what you're into. They are all over the map with so many influences and well over 100 songs and counting. Rock, Punk, Funk, Power Pop, Metal, Jazz, Traditional, Classical and Acoustic Ballads. Some of that is within one song. What do you like? There is nothing else like 'Blooming'. It's a Power Pop Masterpiece. I'm surprised it hasn't been used for an Anime. However they do have songs that have. 'Glory' was commissioned for Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS. And their OMV for 'Unleash' has anime of them in it. Their April Fool's Day alter ego BAND-MAIKO has Traditional Japanese elements. If you want the softer side of BAND-MAID try the acoustic version of 'Puzzle' or 'Before Yesterday' or 'Daydreaming'. But if you just want a LIVE banger, 'Play!' LIVE was from the same show as 'Domination' LIVE and 'Freedom' LIVE. 'Real Existence' LIVE was from a different tour. That's just for starters. The ball is in your court. Time to run with it. You have 10 years of catching up to do.

I'm usually not a believer, but I think there should be a shrine dedicated to the ladies in their home country. 🔥🤘🏻 And no, their catalogue does not contain a single bad song. At most different, but definitely not bad.... One could think it's a small "_WONDERLAND_" (a very discreetly hidden recommendation 🤭). And Japan has so many more good bands to offer. The netflix movie "Kate" features this song near the beginning of the movie. The song "Choose Me" is featured about 30 mins in - the ladies are playing it in a nightclub in Osaka. Try "the Non-fiction days", Endless Story", "At the drop of a hat" (off of Conqueror), and the Band Maiko MVs. For Korean indie, check out Luli Lee's "Flame" and Janet Suhh's music.

I can’t tell you about other artists like them because, IMO, there are none like them and (currently) none as good as them. That’s my assessment from 50 years of listening to rock music! Try the live videos “Puzzle”, “No God”, and “Manners / Black Hole” (that one is 2 songs in one live video).

I know that you don't want to upset anyone. But, it's your channel. So you do you! As already said in the comments. If you do pause to have your say, you can rewind to the start of the solo before continuing.on. After your other BM reactions I knew you would like this one too. As for your next song. You can do Puzzle from their official live video from earlier this year. As for other Japanese bands. Try Lovebites, Nemophilla, Hanabie or Gacharic Spin these are all, all female bands that are getting popular in the US and Europe.

Check out Hanabie -- Pardon Me I Have to Go Now and Be the Gal. Especially Be the Gal sounds like an Electric Callboy track. Electric Callboy is a German band so you might like it them as well if you haven't checked them out yet.

They really don't have a bad song for me. They just have a way of making a hook that brings me in every time. Their few "slow" songs too. Check out their acoustic video sometime and you will see. I recommend doing the acoustic and then listen to the regular version. Both fantastic in different ways.

Oh my, please do whatever makes sense to you. Your channel, your rules! Support the Content Creator!! I can say that much of the “complaints” or “digs” I’ve seen are only inside fan jokes and meant in good fun (Hail Tiny-hat-san!) Pause as much as you want and comment as much as possible. For me, I can understand your likes and dislikes. (Going back a bit to hit the pause point running again is helpful for following along, though) I agree with you that other bands ought to emulate this. Most just cut and paste verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, outro, blah 😑 The Maids have such an eclectic mix of songs you would think they were six different bands in one. I would love to see your reaction from one of their “big, beautiful songs” or “brewtiful?” 🧐 “Puzzle,” Tokyo Garden 2023 live performance Or, “Wonderland,” official live version Or another music video that does them justice: “Daydreaming,” a sincere fan favorite from only their third music release. Firstly. Definitely pause and share your opinions during the song. Just not during a solo. Be it, guitar, bass, or drums. That goes for any band. Not just Band-Maid. Secondly. Always put a link in the description, (as you did here) and advise people at the start that they can go and watch it in its entirety after your reaction. Thirdly. Always urge people to subscribe, not only to your channel, but also to the bands official channel. Fourthly. Continue to grace us with that 'Brewtiful' smile of yours.

My two cents : blooming is a perfect Band-Maid song, the third verse with harmonies, guitar solo and all is so great. They are excellent players but they are are the best at creating. No other group like BM, don’t try. There are other good groups like Nemophila,. I would suggest Cross, Moratorium, Spirit live next. About stopping, for me it’s annoying when a streamer stops during a great solo , bridge or chorus, because interrupting a musical phrase without the end is like listening to only half a sentence and have an opinion. It’s not easy to stop a song but you should do it otherwise, practice will make you better at this I suppose. Sorry I don’t want to patronize you. Your reaction is interesting.
