Can’t say that Russ 10 smashes eagle rare. Feel like that just comes down to preference lol I personally prefer eagle over Russ but I like Russ 10 a lot

I would add JD Single Barrel BP, for $60 it puts a lot of allocated bottles in the dirt!!! Most quality liquor stores will have it.

Knob Creek 9, SiB, and 12 are such good bargains. Good age, proof, and price.

I'd add Old Grand Dad BIB to the list, along with Chattanooga Whiskey 2017 edition BIB. I'd replace the Russell's Reserve10 year with Wild Turkey 101, but I'm all in on the Rare Breed. I prefer Old Forrester 1897 BIB over the 1920. Bakers 7 is always a hit and I enjoy Knob Creek 9 year even better. Keep up the great work !

I love the Chattanooga 111 Cask. Always have Rare Breed and 1920. I have a Russell’s Reserve Single Barrel that I love. As a bargain I also really like Knob Creek 9 Year, Old Grand Dad 114 and the Jack Daniels Single Barrels.

I am in the southeast and I picked up a few bottles of 1792 single barrel store pick Full proof. Each $49 and some change with tax. Labeled with it's barreling date, it was 8 years old. Great deal.

Yes on the Green River. Yes on the Origin. I concur with many of the comments, where’s the OGD? Also, I agree with your thought that bargain doesn’t equal price. Having said that, not a fan of Benchmark.

Bakers 7 is one of my most flavorful bourbons. will always buy a refill when i am getting low so i can side by side.

A great list. If I could find Russell's 10 year at 35 dollars I would buy it regularly but is 45 and up where I live. I agree with jts brown hard to find but a great value at the price and of course Evan bonded is great and Rare Breed if you can find it at a good price

I'm kind of a recent noob to sipping bourbon, but I've seen a lot of tubers saying they think OF 1920 isn't as good lately. My next store trip I'm getting the 100 and 1910 to start.

C923 is a monster. Got two in reserve, drinking on another. Best ECBP release of the last few years. I’m surprised the Knob Creek 9 120 store picks didn’t make the list. 9-11 year old Barrel proof bourbon for $55 is a deal.

Lost Monarch on the shelves by me is $33. OF 1910 is $46 and OF 1920 at $48 near me are steals at that price. My favorite go to and bargain bourbon is Early Times BIB. 🥃

Picked up a Lost Monarch today here in TX for $34.99. Never had it before, but excited try.

We went to Pigeon Forge TN for vacation and I tried several moonshines. I really liked one, but without the bottled in bond bourbon rules I think it was full of corn syrup and fake coloring, likely very unhealthy to drink all year. My favorite is 100 proof Old Grand-Dad, probably my genetics for how I feel the next few hours and the next morning.

Russell's reserve single barrel in my opinion hard to beat an incredible single barrel turkey product w their prices sky rocketing I really enjoy them....

No bargain list is complete without Coopers Craft 100!!

I view "bargain" differently, I'll suggest the addition of Old Grand Dad 114 and 1792 small batch.

Blue note store picks for $45 are the best for me.

Maybe a little high priced, but I love Jack Daniels Single Barrel, Barrel Proof.

Hell of a list! I would probably go with a Larceny barrel proof over Baker’s 7 every time. Chattanooga is pretty limited here in Ohio, but that 111 cask strength and the Bonded are unbelievable. I would add New Riff single barrel to the list and maybe the Remus Highest Rye or George Remus cask strength.

Eagle used to be a bargain at $26. The good old days pre Covid.

Top 4 in order: 1) OF 1910 (or 1920), 2) Rare Breed, 3) Russel's 10 (reserve with red label) and 4) Woodford Double Oak

Great list! One of my bargains is definitely Virgin Bourbon 101. I can only find it down south, but I grab or have my friends grab as much as possible. And then don't forget about OGD 114, found some in NKY last week for $19.99! Cheers

I agree with you guys on rare breed, but as best bargain I would of picked OF 1910 over 1920. And how could you of left out Early Times B&B as an amazing bargain? For under $30 I don’t believe there is anything better.

1792 could be on this list and Rebel 100 is my drink right now. I think Rebel 100 is what a bourbon shoul taste like.

Agree with almost every bottle on your list that I have tried (there were two or three I haven’t had yet), except for the Benchmark FP (I don’t even think it is good, and don’t understand the hype it gets). As far as the EW BIB, I agree it is a great value but the Single Barrels were an even better value when you could get them.

Evan Williams BIB is not good. I don't like any Jack Daniels product... I love pretty much anything Wild Turkey... I like the OF 1920, and I have a ton of RR on my shelf. 10 year, 6 year rye, single barrel, Kentucky spirit, rare breed, etc... and lastly... the ECBP was too hot for me. Even with a big ice cube.

I found a C923 at MSRP and I did not buy a back-up. After I tasted it, I wished that I had, and by the next day they were sold out. The silver lining to this semi sad story is there are ALWAYS hitters being made and coming out all the time. I find it fun to find one, and if I had an unlimited supply of EC barrel proofs I would never find them! To me the fun is tasting different stuff, and when you find "the one" it is just that much better. Cheers!
