Atleast Superman would kill me in a flash, for the most part. If Batman got pushed to kill someone, it would be long, drawn out, extremely painful, and brutal.
Some of his interrogation dialogues in Knight are pretty brutal. One he says is, "Don't make me crack your skull open and make look for the answers inside!" More or less he says that lol.
Thank you! I love this one, also there was one in one of the games where he was like TELL ME, OR YOU’LL EAT FOOD THROUGH A TUBE!” I’m sure I have that wrong but it’s something like that.
Roger's voice is a bit angrier and more aggressive than Kevin which is just stoic in fact he makes Kevin seem tame in comparison no offence to Kevin tho but there's more determination in Roger's voice plus his voice is smoother and deeper, each to his own at the end of the day.
@@eliseo5416 That's the entire point of Roger, Roger is meant to be a young angry Batman. and he doesn't sound at all like Conroy, they both have their own style. I simply think that Roger's voice is more intimidating.
That's why I love him bro, everyone else is punching you or throwing you around then we have red hood just like "I don't have time either speak or get shot"
Arkham Origins had some of the best scenes. The way Bruce tells himself "I'll make him/her talk" is a sign that he was angry. Goes to show how in his younger days Bruce was undoubtedly more brutal and mad than in later part of Arkham series.
he got complacent, that's how he let Jason be captured by Joker. granted, that whole storyline came out of nowhere without any set-up in the Arkhamverse, but still
@@theanarchy4003 complacent is not correct considering that batman basically just took the joker at his words without bothering to fact check to see if it true joker actually killed Jason Todd Batman should know that joker is a pathological liar by the time Jason Todd was kidnapped he basically just abandoned Jason Todd without a skipping a beat and quickly replaced him and that before he have joker blood in him.
12:26 is my hands down favorite because of the acting. "The arkham knight, Barbra Gordon, TELL ME WHERE THEY ARE!" "I'll break EVERY bone in your body, Cobblepot!" "Do. Not. Lie to meee!" I love Kevin's acting here. He sounds super desperate, and I really find that kinda Batman freakin' scary. And the fact that Batman easily knocks out charging henchmen while holding Penguin and not missing a beat with all that power. You can literally feel the power and desperation behind his blows. The last line really freaks me out.
When he said "do not lie to me" i genuinely imagine his face like in animated series, still literally scary. He basically sounds as if he would do anything to squeeze the information out of cobblepot
I love Kevin he's a god but MY GOD Roger is a beast ass young Batman ...i think Roger fits young Batman more so than Kevin would....IMO but as for that older more experienced Batman Kevin is the MAN
I always thought Kevin’s young Batman voice didn’t sound dark and bruiting enough. To me, he never sounded dark and bruiting until Arkham Knight. The other games just sounded too light
@@sebastianmolina5606 Hm yeah i see what you are saying and its weird because we've heard better from him before any of the Arkham games came out but yesss in Arkham knight he killed it but some people dont think so some people say his age is starting to get to him ...i didnt think so he sounded fine
@@djm8741 You have to remember that before Arkham Asylum, Kevin hadn't actually seriously done Batman in awhile. The Justice League Cartoon had wrapped up years ago and Asylum was easily the darkest thing he had ever done at that point. He needed a bit of time to get back into the groove, plus Batman is supposed to be more jaded in Arkham Knight than before, so he's sounds a lot more angry and gruff than City and Asylum because that's where his character is supposed to be. It's kind of a progression. Roger is a Batman that needs to prove himself, so he's forceful and hot-tempered, sometimes to a fault. Kevin represents an experienced Batman that has been doing this for years and doesn't need to prove he's scary and can break all your bones in Asylum and City and is much more collected overall.
I just got platinum in Arkham city in honour of him I should do asylum to but i mean the challenges man i don’t know I think I’ll just leave at city and knight i mean maybe one day I’ll be bothered to go for it but i don’t know man
The Arkham version of Harley was particularly dumb. She blurted out that the lab where Titan was being made was in the asylum's botanical gardens, said there was some of Mr Freeze's technology in the steel mill's boiler room in Arkham City and she did it again in her Revenge DLC.
I love how easily Red Hood just offs one of the main characters in such a simple way. The whole series led up to the Joker’s death while Black Mask was just thrown out a window.
Which is weird considering all the stuff he went through. Like i never understood why they acted like he is scared of death. In the origins he was the type of man who had nothing to lose
@johnathanargow4762 Probably because the Joker's death gave him a chance to get his operation back? And then Red Hood comes in and smashes it back down before throwing him out a window.
7:19 Batman:I can control your pacemaker remotely you want to see what 250 beats per minute feels like? Me:Jeez Batman you didn't have to take it that far.
Batman: You’ve got 3 seconds to tell me where you hid the extortion data for Enigma. Data handler: your a deadman. Batman: 3 Data handler: Brandon and the boys will take you down. Batman: 2 Data handler: Okay, okay stop. Just stop, I’ll tell you where it is.
That was definately not the best line. It was just a standard Batman line that he says *ALOT* . the scene doesnt stand out at all. If you're talking about the whole series dialogue in general then it would be insanity to think that's the best line
My favorite interrogation in the arkham series has to be the arkham origins penguin interrogation. Just imagine being penguin in this situation, seeing a really pissed off man in an armoured batsuit breaking your thug's arms, and then seeing that very man holding you by the neck, demanding answers in a threatening and scary voice. And the interrogation also leads up to one of the best boss fights in the arkham series hands down.
FUN FACT: The voice actor for the thug at 10:23 is the same guy who was in The Dark Knight. The guy who interrogated Joker, saying, "you killed six of my friends." Ironic that Batman would now be interrogating him.
The increasingly brutal interrogations match his worsening physical and mental state. He doesn't have much time before the fear toxin and Joker hallucination take over his body and mind.
@The dark knight returns. I'm sure Kevin Conroy would have done just fine in Arkham Origins. Roger was kind of a letdown. They should've gotten Rino Romano. He has the perfect young Batman voice.
@brucew565 Roger sucks. And that's how Batman is supposed to sound. He is someone who shows little to no emotion due to his training.. Losing his parents was a tragedy, and it's something very fresh in his mind. No offense to Smith, but I didn't care for him all that much. "Black Mask.. put a bounty on my heaaduh, WHERE ISSS HEEEEE!!" It was like he was straining his voice trying to get that deep raspy sound that isn't even necessary. Bale sounded better than that. It just didn't work for me. In Arkham Knight when Batman is interrogating the wrong man with a voice modulator who he thought was the Arkham Knight, you can hear the desperation in his voice trying to find out where Oracle is. I'm sorry, but nobody compares to Kevin Conroy. I love Rino Romano's take on Batman in The Batman. His speaking voice was very natural when switching back and forth from Bruce Wayne/Batman. Personally, I would have loved to have had Romano voice Batman in Origins.
I don't understand how arkham origins gets a lot of hate It really shows how good of a detective batman is and the fights are good. The game does seem quite slow but overall it is a great game
@@BigeuleLP You're leaving out Fast Travel, a vastly bigger and much more alive Gotham as far as it being a mesh of cops, territory disputes, and sub factions dependent on the most wanted list(bane thugs vs black mask thugs vs Shiva ninjas), new enemy varieties, modified gadgets that change up many combat and predator encounters, layered bosses that really push your limits in certain cases, and more importantly demonstrating how raw and inefficient Bruce was when he began compared to how refined and fluid his approach to combat, stealth, and detective work is by City and Knight. Yeah it's got its shortcomings and lacks a little at first but it picks up momentum fast after fighting deathstroke and taking the remote claw. Cause that's kinda when a lot of the game opens up for you to explore barring stuff like shock gloves or glue grenade for certain items and towers.
Jim Walker you don’t have to you could just put the cloth on the dudes face every time and pour gasoline on the cloth so you don’t have to cut his fingers off or electrocute him
I love how Black Mask isn’t afraid of Batman because he knows that he won’t kill him, but is scared to death of Red Hood because he knows what he’s done to his crew.
oh no, the humanity! that movie is the absolute worst. on a side note, if Batfleck had done something even remotely similar to the car interrogation, people would still be crying about it to this day ahahaha
15:18 Robin having to clean up the dirt after Batman ''dead'' and taking a different approach to the thug leaning more towards the ''Batman'' side of interrogating is very scary.
With age and experience, Bats didn't just get more refined in his tactics. He also got more polite. He started saying "thank you" before knocking them out. 😇
17:04 black mask: leave gotham anywhere you want. Ill go anywhere. Red Hood: how about you go to hell. Say hi to joker for me. And thats why i love red hood
When Superman or any other Justice League member interrogates you for information you have the right to remain silent ot snarky but when Batman interrogates you your only option is to sit down give a detailed 3 page essay style answer (with a picture if need be) and tell him exactly what he wants to know. God I love Batman so much.
"You know 50, 000 volts to the head hurts, right?" I've always had a soft spot for Nightwing's interrogation, not to mention Dick Grayson being my favorite DC character. He straddles the line between his background as the first Robin and the Batman side of things. He's a great mixture of jokey yet still threatening when he needs to be.
16:25 thug:"you ain't gonna kill me, you ain't gonna kill me!" Todd: "do I look like batman to you? Rethink your answer before I fill you up with lead." Fucking. Bad. Ass. 🔥
7:29 Batman: Where is strange? My arm’s getting tired. Old Bruce: I can’t believe I was ever that green! THIS is how you interrogate someone. *proceeds to shove a cane up Sharp’s ass* Also... is that the voice of Mr. HARRIMAN from Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends?!
Batman: Enigma paid you to hide extortion data. Tell me where it is. Criminal #2227: You can't pin that on me! Batman: I don't need to. NOW WHERE IS IT? Probably what set Roger Craig Smith as my favorite Batman VA, besides Kevin Conroy and Troy Baker.
I love how when penguin is the interrogator. He is all cool. Toying with his victims. But as soon as Batman’s get in the room. He turns into a little coward
The bat mobile one will always be my favorite. Something might be wrong with me, but these interact-able interrogation scenes are always a joy and I would love to have more
Eh those shots are too typical. Moonlight in the back, Batman standing by it as it casts light. It’s an amateurs cinematography. The best ones are more indirect while still being memorable.
11:00 This is my absolute favorite because of the Batmobile and Kevin’s acting. Batman sounds absolutely desperate and pissed because he’s looking for Barbara. Batman had no problem with possibly crushing the man’s skull in order to get information regarding Barbara and Kevin did an outstanding job sounding very dark with his delivery. He was and will always be the definitive Batman! RIP Kevin 🦇❤️
