Need to buy a cordless battery leaf blower? Look no further! This is the biggest and best blower review video on the internet! I know that is a big claim - but this Beach Ball Blower bonanza video is worthy of this claim.
In this video I test and review 10 of the most popular blowers from Home Depot, including: Snapper, Toro, Milwaukee, Worx, EGO, Makita, Dewalt, Ryobi, Echo, and Black and Decker - No really I do.
And only 1 can be crowned King - watch to find out what model should be in your garage...

What an awesome video! I’m a huge Milwaukee fan and I had the Milwaukee Fuel Gen 2 blower. Then I got the Ego 530CFM blower in my Ego mower kit but I wasn’t a fan of the design so I brought the 580CFM blower and I freakin love it! It’s a lot more powerful than the Milwaukee and doesn’t have that annoying whine to it.

I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. ru-vid.comUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.

Battery just cacked it at five years. Repackers won't fix it unfortunately. Had to buy new one. That's$200 in Australia. I want the new twin blade mower next. Fun review 😀

Great video,happy to see the Makita included this time. The EGO blower is impressive but I recently went with the Makita because the overall system(tools and attachments) is far away more versatile then the EGO. The fact that the Makita blower uses a two battery system that singularly(batteries)works with its drills etc sold me. The EGO blower is a beast but a tethered beast to the larger EGO battery/tools due to the limited use of its big battery. I have 1.5 acres and I can get anything I need done with my Makita with one charge. Final note the Makita blower package I purchased came with 4 batteries so I always have a set ready to go and if you know anything about Makita their power system is crazy fast charging and consistent.

Ok I’ve watched your last one and this one and Love the visual comparison. Using them for work it would be great if you could also include the charge time for the batteries as a comparison. I know my Makita stuff on a rapid charger can just about re-charge a set of batteries in the run time of the blower. Short of a truck full of batteries, this comparison is really important as how long the batteries last isn’t as important as how long you have to wait to re-use. Maybe a comparison of run time using two sets of batteries using only the charge you get in the run time each swap until both sets are pretty much flat.

Awesome test. But it seems the Turbo for the Ego was ON during the power test but it was OFF during the runtime test! (even the manufacturer itself reports 15 minutes runtime with Turbo on while you got about 40 minutes). It doesn't seem that you treated the same for other blowers though which makes the comparison a bit unfair. You should have made it a single test that shows both power and runtime (like the previous one you had) not two separate tests. Otherwise, you have to specifically mention the power settings you use for each of the blowers in each test.
@Brealu

He started that he had tried to get them to all equal power for the test. Yes, turbo was off for the run time test.

Loved the fact that you had different charts up there. That along with the test and comments on here will help me with my decision. I have a cheap gas powered blower and normally I am done in ten or twelve minutes. It is also one of the cheap ones on here that doesn't have a brushless motor. Overall Snapper and Toro seemed to perform well for the money so it will probably be down to those two. You do great reviews and think like a lot of us. Good job!

I already bought the Dewalt prior to seeing this video, but I was already in that battery platform from already having the chainsaw. I will tell you the battery life is extremely disappointing, given the cost of the 6 and 9 Amp hour batteries in their flex volt system.This was a great video and test. I wouldn’t mind getting into the E-go or Ryobi line a little down the road. I know Ryobi makes a higher end model than the one you tested. Might have to check it out. E-go was impressive. Actually had a useful run time.

A great video. The EGO battery powered products are truly a Great bang for the buck with quality. My experience is 25+years as a owner for Lawn Equipment ( I sold the dealership in 2018 / the price was right ). This Marine was always honest with my customers; so, when they saw and asked me about the Stihl Battery Products at the store; I had to be upfront on my opinion because it is about " People before Profits; " thus I would recommend the " EGO Battery Products. " Example: the Stihl BGA 85 with AP300 battery and charger is @ $549.85 vs an EGO with battery and charger @ $ 300.00....OH YEA!

OK In case you want the most powerful lightest weight 18 volt its the Makita hands down. Even in this test they used the dual 18v battery 36 volt Makita which is the same tool but different voltage and it ran the 2nd longest beating most 58 and 60 volt models. The 36v has like 1 more MPH and 4 or 5 cfm but you use 2 -18 volt batteries and it weighs more for no good reason other than run time. Save yourself some weight and money buy the 18 volt Makita for 129.00 and carry an extra battery if you want more run time otherwise its identical to the 36 volt. Don't be fooled by voltage its barely any more CFM or MPH. 18 volt is THE dominant power tool battery in the world and Makita has 250 tools that take their same battery for over a DECADE! Or they have 36 volt that uses 2 of them! No I don't work for them but I have used their LXT18v for over a decade !

@dposcuro
@dposcuro 4 года назад
@@Kitearmy If Milwaukee drops the price of their blower, it would be a lot more compelling, same with the Makita. If they were priced around 250-270? I think they would be worthwhile considerations if you have a modest sized yard, and modest needs for a blower, and are already invested in the respective system. If you have a larger, more demanding yard, or are looking at this as a professional product? I definitely agree, Ego seems to be the way to go if you want cordless. One side note I do want to bring up, is possibility of using the HD battery series in the Milwaukee (or Dewalt's equivilent). The new packs do seem to be improving the performance of most of the brushless tools a bit, though I highly doubt it would really impact the power test much. It would be interesting to see, regardless. Obviously however, Ego does have the more complete outdoor tool line up in comparison to either Makita, or especially Milwaukee.
@Kitearmy
@Kitearmy 4 года назад
@@dposcuro Great comment. I use Milwaukee as my shop tool system and I guess if I had not tried EGO tools I would think their stuff was the best. I'm with you about lowering prices but to some degree and I think my test demonstrates this - you pay for what you get.

I'm honored! I try to think of videos as fine wine - the more time you put in, the better the vino. Wait, i think what I'm trying to say is - I need a stiff drink after making this video :) Love having you as a fan!

Nice video. I have the Makita (already in that battery family). I got the tool only version for $100 which I think was a great deal. Was nice to at how it stacked up.

This was the first time I got to test the Makita. It did well compared to the other shop tool battery blowers

Steve you get what you pay for imo. Plus I can use it around the house. I have a petrol based unit that I used to use. It was a pain in the ass. I used the Ego the other day and it must have 2.5 x the power of the petrol blower.

Another great video, Andrew. I subscribed after I saw your first Beach Ball video. This one was even better. I would love to see you include the newer Greenworks 80v. Greenworks now sells a 730 cfm with 170 mph windspeed. Unfortunately, the one I saw only had a 2.0 ah battery with it. Can't wait to see your next beachball comparison video...

Thank you man!!! This is the best video I've seen so far. You really reviewed those blowers just like the way a lot of us were trying to see. Awesome with the beach balls. Do you have the model number for the ryobi one? I have kobalt and Ryobi at home, So I am looking for kobalt or ryobi. Once again Thank you.

Yours is the best video on this subject. The way that you have organized the information graphically makes it much easier for a consumer to find the model that is most desirable, all things considered. Thank you for taking the time to put this together. BTW, what kind of coffee do you drink? Sometimes I need something that really gets me going.

I have the Dewalt and I like it, but I understand also that a lot of the blowers were made after the Dewalt, so the manufacturers try to beat the current ones. So in the cordless world, basically the last tool that is released is usually the more powerful one. But the Ego is pretty impressive!

Awesome comparison. I am really surprised on how some of them dropped out compared to your last review in 2017. Especially the Dewalt Flexvolt given that it was almost the same time as the Ego on your last review. Have you thought about doing the same head to head again - to see how repeatable it is. Great job - thanks Kit Army.

Thanks mate - I ran the test multiple times. During 1 of the tests 2 blowers fell out of the platform - Ugh! Yeah, I was surprised about the Dewalt performance too.
