I just want to come back to this video again and say thank you! 8 months ago this was my first video or yours I saw and this definitely birthed my passion to make a men's care line starting with beard products. Things are going slowly as of now but it's gonna do great. Thanks to you! Continue your great products and I will be adding a natural body soap to my line and I will be looking at your soap vids a lot more as well.
Speaking of good scents, Agave lime from NG. And mix it with NG vanilla bean FO is awesome! Made some lotion with that blend and I think it’s so fresh and yummy!
Will be restocking my beard balms this week. My brother (the one in my life with the longest established beard) will be home Friday, so I want this ready for him to use when he gets here. I will let you know what he thinks when he's had a chance to use it over the weekend :)
You are such a ❤ for sharing your knowledge with us plebes. Everyone that comes to my house regularly knows your theme music cause I'm always watching one video or another.
You spoiling us Mrs S&C with these recipies. Muchly appreciated. And thank you for sharing good substitutions. I have really struggled with finding Karanja oil here in Oz and always dubious of buying it off the net. Prefer to buy it off reputable companies if I can.
Hubby had been begging for one since his resembles Mr S&C lol. So far the ones I've formulated have just been to light to keep it under control. Can't wait to try these!
Your hilarious! The recipes have been awesome and great to have. Hey, I love experimenting with other peoples formulations. I also learned that there's an actual beard and hair emulsifying wax! I hate doing business with that company though! They pretty much suck! (SORRY). I've always just blended my own waxes to make one for beard balms, pomade, hair fixitives, etc. Cool to know. Are you home yet? I've been so busy this is the 1st Ive watched in like 5 days! Got catch up to do! Jill
Love this, thank you. I watched your live the other day on preservatives. While watching it I noticed your fun hand gesture you did every time you said Mr Webman and saw you did it again in this video. I must know. What is that hand gesture all about. It makes me chuckle everytime you do it. 😁😅 x
Thank you for sharing this. Answered my question too as to which is better for a beard and not baby beard. Haha. My guys all have beards, so I'm gonna have to give this one a try. So appreciate yours well 💕
Mrs Soap and Clay quick question 🙋🏻♀️. I need to make a beard (and eyebrow) balm for my husband. Would you suggest switching out some of the oils and butters with different ones or adding a specific extract or essential oil? Thank you!
@@MrsSoapAndClay I still might make some for the local street / art / craft fair that occurs in June. My friend that does all kinds of crafty things with yarn and I are going to do a booth with soaps, lotions, crocheted stuff [including wash cloths], and maybe now... beard balms. :D
What is the extract i haven't made anything like this before. The extract is the only thing i was't sure of. Thank you for these videos. I always appreciate learning from you.
Extracts are botanical extracts - kinda like taking the best bits out of botanicals without all the extra stuff. It’s not needed, but a very nice additional feature for leave on products. Have fun!
Hey! I have a question if you can answer?. If I have a mixture of carriers and I have a scent from MWFC (the same place you got your cedar from) which is 8oz how much would 1.40% of the scent I'm going to add be in oz? I thought I got it right but I just don't smell it at all
Hey! So another option for very coarse beard hair would look something like the following - 20% wax (I do recommend sticking with beeswax or a similar hard wax) 20% butter (cocoa butter would be good here as opposed to a softer butter 40% jojoba oil (the fatty acid chains of jojoba make it structurally similar to a wax while still maintaining the ease of application like an oil) 20% avocado oil (or a similar deep penetrating, slow moving oil. Castor would also work well). Net/net: If you add too much wax, the use ability of the product is difficult, so I would opt for increasing the jojoba to get the protection and shaft sealing that a waxy substance provides instead. Try making some and let me know how you like this modified version!
Hey! Pretty sure I discuss that in the video! As this is an FAQ vid, it may not be one wherein I drop a specific recipe but instead explain the process so you can plug that info into your formulation structuring.
Just wanted to tell you I usually watch your videos at 1.75x speed, which I only mention because I just watched an older video of yours where you said people complained about you talking too fast. Now I understand why you’re talking so slowly :D You should’ve never listened to them
