I bought a great Budget Mountain Bike Light. It must be the best bike lights on amazon that I have used or reviewed as it is so bright. I unbox and review this 'Vastfire Bike Light Set'. This USB C rechargeable bicycle light is 5000 lumens. The 5 beams bike light works well and can last about 24 hours on the low setting and about 2 hours on the high setting.
The high setting is at 5000 lumens. Low setting is 500 lumens.
Charge time for the massive battery pack is 10 hours.
These are great lights for night riding.
The light comes with a separate battery pack that can be strapped to the bike with the Velcro straps provided. It also comes with two easy to use rotational clips and a rear light with its own USB C charging port.

depending on price could be good for an hour or so in the woods after dark, would be interesting to see an actual lumens test because so many amazon specials have wonderous claims of 10,000 lumens etc but only output about 800 also don't know if the mount would handle drops/jumps and rough terrain on the trails.

Well you can still use it on the street with only the 2 diffuser beams on a lower level. I believe the lowest setting is around 500 lumens which is more than weak enough(actually a bit weak really) to be just seen on the roadway. The diffuser beams will diffuse the light to such a level that it won't cause glare. I had sort of a similar Yosky light with the same mount and internal batteries which were way more heavier than just that light by itself and I went off roading with it no problem so with an even lighter light I don't see any problem with it keeping stable on the bike unless you have a childrens bike with coat hanger wires for handle bars. This looks like an old Magicshine Monteer 5000S copy. Since that light is old, this light is probably close or near the 5000 lumen mark as they've had enough time to copy it without having to resort to outrageous claims. In fact I wouldn't be surprised the original contractors to make the old Magicshine Monteer 5000S lights just directly copied the light after the manufacturing contract was up. Happens all the time in China. So it's probably an "unbranded" or whatever brand you want to put on the light, ie. Acrunu sells the same light, Monteer 5000S stolen from Magicshine with some minor differences, enough to not get sued. Ie. Different buttons, simplified UI, simpler battery, cheaper construction, etc. Which means it's probably good. Or at least good enough. In fact looking at the specs/modes it's almost exactly the same as the Magicshine except they've done away with the eco functions which probably saves a few bucks on the electronics and it doesn't look as high quality or as refined as the Magicshine, but if it works the same who cares? I'm a computer tech with alot of instrumentation. I'm kind of interested in this light. If I get one I'll really test the battery capacity, etc. I'm assuming to get to that 5000 lumens level it has 4 cells in 2 parallel and 2 series to get up to 7.4v. Without having it in my hand and testing it I can't really tell. Also I'm not sure if the batteries in there are 18650's or 21700's. If they are 18650's there is no hope in hell it's a 20000mAh battery pack(really 10000mAh pack at 7.4v in series). You would need 21700's at least and good ones. The battery pack does look thick enough for 21700's but I'd have to test them. For example my 3000 lumens(They claim 6000, it's not I tested it, it's 3000) LIG08 light bar setup from Newbowler claims 10000mAh and they are actually 21700's but they are grade B cells otherwise the light would be double. But they are fairly ok with grade B's in there as it has a real capacity of 8756mAh until low voltage cutoff at 2.8v. So for grade B's that's not too bad at around 87.5% of capacity(add 10% for total dead). Anything over 80% is acceptable for grade B's until low voltage cutoff which I hope this light has or you will kill the cells much quicker. If I get one of these lights I'll post it on my tech channel.

It is probably the brightest bike light I have tested. I have just recently tested a 5157 lumens hand torch and it feels brighter than that.

This is not for a mountain bike like, it would fall off in no time?
@thereviewdaduk

It does fit very securely to the bike. I went over some rough bits off camera as I could not hold and film at the same time and it did not move or slip at all.

@@thereviewdaduk how is the lamp connected to the battery pack? A regular USB A connection would also fail pretty quickly. I see another major flow: no control of the beam of light: it spills light like a simple flashlight: it would blind any incoming traffic. The beam needs to be controlled to a flat but wide enough beam lighting the ground but not the tree tops and not even the rider in front of you. So this looks like somewhat cheap and simple engineering product. I like the power bank feature, though, but it seems they should provide two outputs?

@thereviewdaduk 11 месяцев назад
The connection is via their male to female DC connection - not USB. I mention this in the video that this light is more for trail riding where there is no on coming traffic as it is so bright - but there is the warmer light setting as well that can be used. The light can be fitted to face more down. I set mine up higher to showcase the brightens for the video. The battery pack has the USB C and USB A as well as their male to female Dc Connector.

If your riding around your town or on roads with traffic dont use a 5000 lumen light you will blind oncoming drivers
@thereviewdaduk
@thereviewdaduk 9 месяцев назад
This is only for trail riding. It is way to bright to ride in streets etc. As per the video where I show how bright it is on teh street.

You can just use the 2 diffuser beams on low which is only 500 lumens which is more than weak enough to just be seen.
