Ronnie Sarmiento in my opinion the Onewheel is the most capable board off-road. I know some of the diy boards can go much faster but the Onewheel has the most control. PS. Love you videos
Electric mountain board That dude is insane on the onewheel! I have both and I'm wayy more comfortable off road on my board, onewheel I use for slower more technical rides
I’ve ridden trails like that on a Onewheel and now own a uni and can honestly say an experienced rider on either will tear that trail up but the uni is the best for a path like that. Put some Clark pads on or some kuji pads on and your good to go. Flight fins on or off the Onewheel will be fine but some of those roots will make you eat dirt. The fins will help but an experienced rider on the uni would destroy that trail.
EUC would be best equipped for the terrain assuming the rider had enough experience and confidence. I’ve added extra padding to the sides of my old rebuilt gotway MSuper and it allows me to really grip the thing between my legs for hopping over bumps and stuff. I’d love to ride a trail like this!
the best Onewheel guys can't do all the stuff the best EUC drivers can: up stairs, higher hops, steeper climbs, faster,... no contest. the Onewheel is super-fun, but fewer safeties stock and not as versatile.
My calves & feet hurt just watching this lol definitely the one wheel or uni would be best. Probably the uni for the win though, just because the one wheel will “bottom out” so to speak. Each side of it I mean, where your feet go, the edges bottom out. With the uni you’re good all the way. Great content for a video but actually doing this looks more like a frustrating anxiety filled nightmare & not so much fun lol definitely sticking to the paved streets!
@@docholliday3666 so I ended up finding about the ownboard At/GT ..I got both wheels cause I couldn't decide.. thankfully I did..I definitely found myself more on bumpy terrain and grass for detours alot more..the pavement by my house is horrible...but downtown was awesome once I swapped the wheels which took about 5 minutes..I would've went with the Evolve but I'm glad I saved a few hundred bucks 🌶️
@@marielleelisan3233 So, you still don't have it? Yeah, at this point I'm really facing the fact that it may not make the door to door promise. But, have one of the Amazon toy boards to hold me down for now.
I was actually kinda disappointed in my man on the EUC cause he was supposed to represent. A more experienced rider would have killed it on such a mild trail. If you ever seen chooch tech he rides some gnarly trails the kinds with big ass roots, potholes, giant rocks, drops and all that stuff. As soon as he got on the trail I could tell he was fairly new since he was flailing around and lo an behold it was his first time offroading. Meanwhile the onewheeler you can tell is really experienced. If someone on a euc with a similar skill level got on the trail he would have absolutley dominated. I will give white shirt credit though despite being fairly new he handled that small curb by the bridge like a champ. There's some skill involved in that cause you have to let your weight off right at the moment the wheel touches so it can bounce up on its own. Not only does it require practice but also requires a good deal of speed and commitment. Failing the timing means you'll be launched forward onto the ground but he executed it flawlessly.
I think it just boils down to the amount of experience each rider has. Towards the end of the video guy on the uni said it was his first time off road and as a euc rider myself I could tell at a glance cause of how much he was flailing around on such an easy trail.
dissen on dkp trucks again when its NOT valid. a blackhawk aint meant for this type of terrain. it aint rocket science. dkp is for carving and agility.not trails . yet ur newer videos u still talk negatively about them meanwhile ur carving up a storm with a bug fat smile on your face
You could tell my man on the uni was a newbie by how much he was flailing about on such a easy trail. A pity. If he was as experienced as the onewheeler was he would have put him in his place lol
ronnie wat r u filming with...? i just got an e board n have never been on a skateboard period n wanna make dinner videos n see wat i look like more importantly.... i have nor seen any one else in tulsa ok with an e board....
So what’s the best belt driven skateboard under 1000? I think I’m going to go with the own board w2 9.0 ah. What’s your recommendations? What about the apsu board?
Can you test out off roard boards like Kaly NYC, and Lacroix Boards? These have drop down deck, lower center of gravity, and different from double kingpin truck.
EUC rider with more experience and power pads would dominate this. Notice the OW guy did have some aftermarket foothooks to keep his feet in place, EUC didnt
Hey Ronnie, really cool video! I have a onewheel that I enjoy at the beach and on trails and I’m wondering if I should get a propel x4s for the same type of ride and if it would be better or not. What do you think? Also the Amazon link for your gear cannot be clicked or copied from my iPhone. It might be worth making it clickable in your bio so that we can give you some affiliate juice 😉 just want to support the channel If I buy something there.
Dnt know if i wana be on that one wheeler down the trail that fast lol definitely will be flying directly in the woods... For sure not the Unicycle one thats a face 1st ride....
Hahaha fun video Ronnie 😁! A little different than the other vids 👌. Say, how's the flex and waterproofing on the board? I'm looking for an Evolve Bamboo GTR like board. Vestar and Verreal got my attention right now. But can't find a lot on both. The Vestar seems more in-tune with the Evolve. Wanting to go for street setup. Even get the official Evolve street wheels in purple 😁. Also any idea if the pulleys on the street setup fit any flywheel? Thx!
I have a question do you recommend any cheap all terrain boards I really want one for dirt roads but can’t find any under $700 that can ship to USA or that is reliable. I hope you have a good board in mind I was looking at the yecoo board but it’s still to expensive for me
Looks like so much fun! With the business closing and social distancing. All the crazy going on right now, I think people will see there's fun to be had outside of panic shopping and working from home. Me I'm stuck at work and I don't have my board with me😢😢😢 I will just watch you and dream of the day I can get back on mine
I hope you're staying safe and not taking the same car.. FFS this is f*cking crazy, Canada is locked down but this is great to keep my mind off of this situation.
@@RonnieSarmiento Good man! just not in the same car, right? heh.. Please not in the same car, I talked to a friend of mine and she has a dry cough, then walking up the street for 4 minutes, 2 people coughed nearby.. This was yesterday. I'm guessing you weren't in lock down mode when you made this? I really can't believe what's going on, and I feel for you with that... President. OMG.. I'm gonna start riding, snow is nearly gone. Stay safe! we're not gonna be getting much hugs lately unless we're with someone. ;)
I see you were struggling uphill and mounting small ledges (like stuck between the boards on the skinny). Maybe you should grab up an evolve board. Those things have a s***ton of torque.
@@RonnieSarmiento I whish i could have an AT Board over here. But in Germany E Boards are forbidden to ride. But i still got 3 Boards, the Wowgo2s, Yuneec Ego 2, and last but not least the Backfire G3. These i can ride, because they dont look like motorized Boards :P Take care Ronnie, love ur content!
Tell me about it, I was looking for off-road videos and had a hard time finding any good ones. This trail was honestly not suited for a 4 wheeled board but stilll had a blast riding it
Ronnie Sarmiento I’m waiting for a quite similar to Vestar board, a Ownboard Bamboo AT/GT. Planing to use it in the woods, in quite the same terrain and conditions as where you rode. And yea I could see it wasn’t easy on those rocky trails, but looking forward to try it out myself.
