YESSS! There's going to be (probably) THREE more Shadowhunter series! The Dark Artifices is next with the first book coming out fall 2015 :)

I think that yeah some people don't enjoy the books but that applies to almost every book in existence. On goodreads, for example, it's right at the top of the best YA books list. Personally? I think it's worth a read and the majority of the booktube community would agree with me

***** Preach it brother. They're fad books with bad writing, irrelevant fluff, and a character so flat its disgusting. It's like Twilight that way - everyone loves them, but they're complete shit.

I have bought the entire Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy and am half way through the first book. Thank you Kat for being the single most prominent reason I bought them, and for introducing me to this amazing new series! I'm absolutely loving it.

You look gorgeous & your sweater sets off your eyes beautifully! I've just started The Assassin's Blade; finally decided to dive into the series since so many love it + you're cosigning. :) As for Dreams of Gods & Monsters, I LITERALLY had it in my hands last night, petting it and asking it if it was time (but I kept focus on Assassin's Blade since I was already a few chapters in). But I think Gods&Monsters may be my next one because it's one of my fave series, too. As always, fantastic video, Kat! ^_^

I was a bit disappointed by CoHF tbh! The whole tag line was who will survive and it didn't really make sense to me (you know what I mean if you've read the book)

I love theLunar Chronicles, too! I actually went to the Cress tour back in February and met the author and got my copy signed. That was such an awesome experience. She said the rights to her series had been bought by a movie company but that was all she could say. I'd love to see the books as movies!

I agree with you sooooo much with Cress being the best instalment in the series Kat, the Thorne and Cress romance was just TOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also I AM ACTUALLY DYING FOR WINTER!!!!!!!!!!! Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so close yet soooooo far away! At least we will have Fairest in the mean time x

Its soo inspiring go see or meet girls who love to read, or read a lot! It motivates me to read. I enjoy reading! I read from my kindle threw my phone or ipad. But sometimes I get in a reading slump and can't read so I have to watch videod like this, to givr me the drive to read again! Thanks for this and beeing a book worm 😊

How the hell are all the books in your bookshelf of the same size? I know it's probably arranged that way to serve as a cool background (and I envy it) but I feel bad for my freaky bookshelves with books of all sizes, colors, formats and editions.

Katytastic, I really recommend a Wattpad book called Dead Letter Office: Parish Mail, I normally don't like reading on that site (I reserve it for my stories, because you can store unpublished works in your profile - it's handy, so if my computer breaks or a notebook is missing, I have everything stored on two separate profiles in-case I loose the password to an account), but I was so engrossed with it that I finished it in a day, honestly. Here's the summary: A contemporary southern gothic mystery series, about a teenager who discovers a cache of centuries-old letters containing clues to crimes happening in the present day.

Clockwork Princess or Monsters Of Men are my favorites!!! My most anticipated book of 2015 is Lady Midnight, the first book in the Dark Artifices Trilogy by Cassandra Clare! I can't wait!

A lot of these were absolute favourites of mine as well! Heir of Fire was the freaking best, and gods & monsters was...AGH. SO. SO. GOOD. Cress was spot on. And I also reaaaally want to read Illusions of Fate when I hear you talk about it.

i loved the mistborn series, books 11 and 12 in the black dagger brotherhood series,cress and than familiar things by lia habel, burial rites by hannah kent, ignite me by tahareh mafi, splintered by a.g.howard, the diviners by libba bray and my fav book has to be the wise man´s fear by patrick rothfuss... so freaking amazing!!! i can´t wait to read dreams of gods and monsters next year!!! :-D

I was literally shocked when DOGAM didn't show up in the Best Installment or Best Conclusion or Best Fantasy categories, but it Best Book 200%, I'm blaming it for my less than preferable amount of reading I did this year. I found myself comparing everything back to it.

One I really liked was Tales of The Screaming Eagle. It came out this past June or maybe July. I really enjoyed the strong woman character of Ms Coleen who runs this great bar in space.

Tbh I think I liked In The Afterlight a little bit better than CoHF because even though I loved them both, I think I liked how ITA wrapped up. I wanted to see more of a conclusion in CoHF. But CoHF was so much longer and I totally liked that 😄😄

Shamefully, totally shamefully, I still have not finished reading Dreams of Gods and Monsters. I KNOW IT'S SO BAD. I think I'm worried that it's going to be over soon, and I just, I love the series x.x
