Tj / Heather - we just came back (08/25 - 08/28) from Kentucky; and we did this experience, and you two are spot on. I went in knowing that I was going to get the Heaven Hill experience due to its rarity, but from a taste perspective I wanted the ECBP. I thought it was better, as was Larceny than both the A and B batches of this year. Fortunately, my brother chose EC, so I will choose to sip on his, until we get the opportunity to go again! Great points, great video.

Taking my father-in-law down for a Bourbon Trail long weekend at the end of the month. Booked some stuff you've mentioned in earlier videos so thank you for the information. Looking forward to Bardstown Distilling and the restaurant!

Have fun! Let us know how it goes. Also when your at Bardstown Bourbon Company and eating make sure to have an Old Fashioned and ask to see the vintage bourbon list. It is a great way to finally try a really good dusty. Some are very expensive but many are affordable.

@@PowerofBourbon We are touring Lux Row as well, you recommend the 12 year they sell there still? Can you try it on the premises first?

Yes the 12 year is one of the best bourbons you can get. I do not know if you can try it because we have not done a tasting there. If you go to Louisville before you tour Lux Row check out Westport Whiskey and Wine or Evergreen Liquors and they should have it on their tasting bars.

Glad it was helpful! Make sure to get those reservations in asap because everything is filling up quick now a days. Also if you don’t get one you want sometimes they have cancellations and you can get it.

Good video!! We were trying to get in on that when we do our Whiskey Tornado weekend, but they were booked solid. Yes.. dump Brian and Chuck.. keep your wife on! Just kidding… love the channel just the way it is and with the add ins from your better half TJ. Cheers!!!

How much was it to purchase the bottle?

This is an old video but I think your talking about the heaven hill you do bourbon which would make the bottle from $75 - $200 depending which bourbon you choose.

Buffalo Trace is not part of the Bourbon trail

You are correct they do not want to pay to be apart of it.

@@PowerofBourbon That was Sazerac that decided it. Before their ownership they where part of it. But cause they are the oldest distillery of the states they get so many visitor's that it doesn't matter.
