I've been trying to convince my better half that a trip to the bourbon trail would be good for both of us, some of these tips will definitely help plan a trip and keep it fun.
We were just at Bardstown Distillary this week Yes we really enjoy that place been there a couple times we got a Van Winkle 10 year pour for 30 dollars Food is really good too
I lived in Louisville for a few years and actually spent part of my honeymoon in Bardstown (back in the day). You guys are right, sometimes you will catch a 'buy @ the distillery only' or special drops...you have to be on their email lists to get any kind of notice when those things occur. If you have any interest in the process....I encourage everyone to go to Makers Mark and then like a Jim Beam, so you can see the 'made by hand' versus automated hugeness. Makers IS worth the trip as it is a tad out of the way. Hot Browns - you need to know where to get them...lol To get the best, you need to go to...you guessed it, The Brown Hotel. Oh and go to the track if you have never been...Churchill reeks of history...
Loving your channel after meet you both! Thanks for the great ideas for bourbon trail trips. I am hoping to make the trip sometime before May 2023. You planning your annual trip to Valencia? Let us know and we will try and get the same tee time again this year!
