insertnamehere I’m from California and a few years ago my wife and a few friends decided to take a trip to the Midwest. We flew into Minneapolis rented a van and off we went. I was a bit hesitant seeing as how I’m Mexican American and our friends are Japanese American you know you here things. However I’m 52 and know that you need to experience things for yourself before judging. I’m a very social person so making friends has never been an issue for me. I tell you what we had the time of our lives and met some great people and ate some great food along the way. We couldn’t believe the hospitality. One time in particular we went into a sport bar of some kind and the place was packed due to a football game that was on but the people in the place made room for us and let’s just say we had more than one spotted cow with them hahaha. Once the game was over most of the people left but the staff made sure we felt at home and they upgraded our table without even asking. It was like that the whole trip. Some of the best people I’v ever met! God bless you all and a big thank you!

Because the media was spreading lies saying our soldiers were were killing women a children. she stood there in horror and he wheeled himself to her covered in spit. So glad you made it home ! My brother did 2 tours . He didn't know when he was coming home. I was eating breakfast at the kitchen table, and heard a knock on the back door ! There he was ...the best day ever ! Mom cried tears of joy ! We called Dad at work. He was a mechanic repairing trolley cars ! The guys at work said he flew out of pit , and raced to the phone ! He must've broken land speed records driving home ! I think it's the only time didn't get upset with him for wearing his greasy clothes in the house ! I wish his return home was as wonderful ! Of course we didn't know my brother had a similar experience at the airport out west . Thank for his service, and give him big hug ! The Vets deserve our respect, and gratitude !

As a teenager(13) I use to wake up in the middle of the night to my father screaming vietnamese phrases at my mother, who would come running in my bedroom where my 2 sister's & I had our bunkbeds. I remember having to hit my father repeatly with the guard from top of the ladder. My mother crying & us all petrified just trying to survive another night of this madness. My father never said a word of things that had happened to him. Then 35 yrs later, long after he was gone, my mother had told me about a time when the whole squad my father was in, was wiped out except for him & another soldier. My father was master sgt. at the time & it was his squad. So I guess the guilt of a horrible thing, in a horrible war, took my dad away from me. Oh my father returned but my dad was left over in Vietnam.

My grandpa was in The army and was in Vietnam. He never wanted to talk about his experience until a little before he passed. He told me a few wild stories but I knew he had more that stuck with him that haunted him. He was a great man and will be missed.

Bravery, Honor, Respect! This is what true Americans look like. these “boys” rioting, looting, causing chaos will never know what it’s like to be a real man, like these two gentlemen. Much respect to you both, thank you for your service, and fighting for our country!

Man when I say this I’m not trying to be a tough guy just stating a fact I am a retired bareknuckle boxer of 37 years of age I made good money this way . I am sitting here in my back yard with my first beer of the evening crying my eyes out . I bow down to these old warriors And the love they have for eachother God bless you guys and Cindy Greetings from Dublin Ireland

Yet I’m sure you support the draft dodging coward. You realize those people are merely exercising their Constitutional rights to which these men fought for? To which my brothers and sisters fight for to this day? Grouping rioters and protestors in to one category does nothing but push our “President””s authoritarian agenda, don’t get it twisted. If you are a true supporter in the ideals these men fought for, you would be on the side of the protestors-not the man trying to stifle our rights.
