Except for the obligatory slow-motion regamuffin female, this demo footage is very helpful. I like the way he uses a variety of indoor and outdoor settings, lighting configurations and focal lengths to help us get an idea of the lens's look. I have the 35mm Sirui and have been considering the 75mm for close ups.

good quality images. I observe that many recent tv series and films are shot with anamorphic lenses, even if sometimes it does not seem the best solution ... it is really a trend (a fad?) that can become annoying with this slight distortion and "dreamy" feel of the anamorphic applied to any and everything. But this sirui lens is really interesting.

Imagine shooting a promo for kindergarten in anamorphic, haha. But yeah it's true that you shouldn't use it for everything. For story based videos and anything cinematic / epic it's definitely a good choice.

I'm surprised you were allowed to film in Dubai. I get challenged even if I try to take a picture on my phone.

Yeah this is annoying as hell, they always said to me that i can use the phone but not the camera and if i can use the camera then i cannot use the gimbal or any external microphone, like how does that make sense.....but still managed to get 7 hours of footage, haha :D

@@DreamDuoFilms Thats an achievement my man. I've actually given up filming here as it's such a hassle. If you film anyone bit your subject they can file a case and get you thrown in jail. Dubai is one place to too film. All the top Arab Vloggers just do talking heads.
