Yes sir! My first Spyderco was a Tenacious. I still have it and we been to hell and back. Accidentally cut a hot wire on my truck burning a hole on the edge portion. She’s still cutting
Byrd is a great option, I have had plenty of them in my collection in the past. I still have a Cara Cara Rescue in my collection. I think the only drawback is that all of their designs are lockbacks which I'm not a fan of. Thanks for the comment!
I have linked all the knives in the Description Box of the video so anyone can get up to date pricing and availability. Hope that helps you out, thanks for watching!!!
The Tenacious was also my first Spyderco. I own about 20 by now but I never felt like the fit, finish, and materials justify Spyderco's prices, I've bought them for the design back then. I haven't bought one in years since I discovered so many companies offering better knives for the same money. The only Spyderco I still see in my future is the Pattadese.
I have to agree with your comment, I have had so many Spyderco knives and none of them have ever had an issue. The steel has always performed as expected. @@diezelvh4133
That's a great carry, unfortunately I don't have any of those on the shelf to show. There's always a chance in a future episode. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!!!
There are no budget spyderco, they’re all expensive for what they are… better bang for the buck is to get their higher end steel models… get one of the k390 blue series…
I can agree to your point, but I can also see someone wanting a Spyderco and not wanting to spend a lot. I have plenty of customers who buy the Ambitious, Persistence, and Tenacious because of the low price point, not because they have the best materials.
