I use the monitor+ app on an old Pixel 5 using USB C. By using USB C, it also keeps my camera battery charged. I can get a really long recording time with this setup. Plus, the image is more crisp than my old field monitor.
@@BeyondTheGame_E np! I used that setup to video a 4hr media day for basketball. At the end of the shoot, the Pixel battery was at 65% and a7iv was still full! This was shooting 10-bit 4k 60fps.
This is so good E, your content keeps getting better and better! QQ: Do you know what specific settings should I use to record on S-LOG 2 on a Sony 6600? Seems to be loads of different opinions everywhere. Thanks!
@@bernardosantos2404 I've never used that particular camera but usually all the settings stay to the default position except for the gamut which I change to sGamut3.cine.
@@BeyondTheGame_E Lovely thank you E! any particular tips about recording in S-LOG2? You're the only one I trust in when it comes to Sports Videography !
Thanks for the vote of confidence! It's mainly about getting your exposure right. Your image will look very grey and dark in camera so you'll need to adjust to that if you're not used to it. Better to practice filming and grading slog2 before using it on a big project.
I don’t really know. I’ve never used a 10ft tripod. But I doubt it would be a cheap solution because you’d need some type of remote and wireless monitoring system.
Hai beyondthegamer bro you make 1 video on soccer video how to get soccer goals clips with commentary and how to edit football goals clips without any copyright. where big football youtuber edit football goals video pro.
All the soccer goals you want are available to download with commentary on RU-vid. But there’s no way to get around the copyrights though. You can make videos like that all you want but you just won’t be able to make money from them. Here’s a video that explains it in great details ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uyxGNpODdjk.html
Why does the app let you touch to focus and the more expensive ones don’t have that feature? I was surprised when the found out external monitors don’t have this.
I film my sons sporting events and I use a "Neewer F100 7" monitor. its not the best but it does the job, however I struggle with sunlight refection coming off my shirt into the monitor (even with a hood on the screen). If anyone has any suggestions on how to reduce the reflection I would appreciate the help.
You get better fps if you use a HDMI capture card and you can also use duplex mode to have control of your camera on your phone with Monitor+. It works with iPhone and Android.
@@BeyondTheGame_E ah ok.. I assumed most of this had to be done either via Bluetooth or on the same Wi-Fi connection but I didn’t think the camera itself put out its own Wi-Fi signal.
