Rock on. I found a WW2 bomb in 1977 when I was 11. I didn’t know what it was and was putting the spade down the side and pulling the spade moving it. If it wasn’t for an old man walking by telling us it was bomb we might have blown ourselves up. Just got back into MD again all these years later.

I actually sold a Mon lab safari like I said about 5 years ago when I got out of detecting.. I have the Xterra pro and it's good. I sometimes prefer to use my older Xterra 705 with 6 inch coil in ultra trashy areas...Equinox 900 just arrived but have only one hunt with it so far! Ok, the Equinox coils work on the Xterra pro but does the Xterra pro coil work on the Equinox series???

RockGod, I like your style. I got the Xterra pro so my family and friends can go out detecting with me. What I like is you just balance and go. I like to geek out on the settings on the 900, but the Xterra can hold its own.

RockGod enjoyed your video! Started out in the 80's with a White's 6000 Di detector and found a 1942 50 cent Walking Libery silver coin at 8". I received my X-Terra pro about a month ago and it's finding really deep coins... sometimes to deep ;) VID needs improvement but the tones are spot on. I'd love to get a 900 but I'm retied. Keep rocking out those videos man!

Would you recommend a equinox for gold detecting if you mostly do gold panning?

Great video Mate just found your channel I did a side by side comparison video on my channel this Xterra pro vs Nox 600. A two gram 14kt gold ring ten inches deep in wet salt sand with high iron minerals here in Virginia USA and the Xterra hit it harder than the Nox did .. once again nice video Rock God

The mine lab is nice if you use rechargeable AA batteries and keep a hand full in your bag or pocket. Charge em when you get home! 🤙 Do you have another recommendation for a multi frequency detector good on beaches around same costs?

I have a equinox 600, three years mostly beach water hunting in Flrida, but I think the simple single freq Beach 2 on this new machine might be quicker (no Multi IQ) and punchier when I'm chest deep in the Gulf of Mexico. Rock on! Plus it's on sale in the US for about $265. No brainer!

The Vanquish Detectors with an Extra $60 USA you can Buy a RNB battery pack that replaces all the AA batteries, Great detector for all around detecting. But then Minelab came out with the Xterra Pro. Fully Waterproof same coil shape as the Vanquish and then you can use Minelab 600/700/800/900 Coils with it too.. I can not wait to get one in my hands to use.. Peace.

My first machine was a bounty hunter tracker 4 and it was super reliable. They’re not the highest quality and it has pretty much zero settings, but it detects metal. It is the bare minimum definition of a metal detector.

I got an Xterra Pro and one benefit of the single freqs is that it punches pretty deep. I was digging 8-10 inch targets all day long the first time I used it. Recommend it like PJ said, can't beat the price for what it does.

Is that the new version simplex? The simplex BT is aluminum and carbon fiber. The ultra is all carbon fiber.

Bro you know that I’m a Garrett ROCKGOD ….just got to start by saying that the ex terra is a bargain for $500, the other machines including the 300i are very capable of finding some great finds, I used to have an ace 250 with some great results. If that ex terra had multi frequency then it would be an outstanding machine for its price. I’ll stick with my Apex 👍
