I do the majority of my media consumption on a TV. But I do have a projector, which is used for playing fifa with friends. Unfortunately I have been spoilt with 4k on the TV and this is how I watch sports and the very few movies I watch
i have cheap 1080p projector from aliexpress - T26L. Main issue is noise. I messured 60db! SInce projector is 70 cm next to you thats big problem. I have to use noise cancelling headphones. You should defenitely try silver screen sheet from aliexpress. Its game changer, its almost like having big TV screen in front of you.
I had a projector on my old Sony Camcorder. Absolutely nothing like what you have in this video, however, I agree there's something about a large image blasted onto a wall. I think it's the fact you get a greater sense of depth and scale to every scene that makes a projector stand apart from a large screen TV image. We have a Dolby Vision TV but even with its size and quality I prefer the larger format of the projector. Cracking video mate, nice one 👍
I wanted to switch to a projector for many years now, and just haven’t wanted the hassle of setting it up and also getting it to work with my Philips hue playbar setup 😩 I just upgraded to an OLED TV instead and I think for now I’m happy with my choice. The fact the cinemas aren’t yet open and that whole part of my life is on hold helped me with my decision. I love your setup tho. Have you tried infuse app for Apple TV for your own media?
