Just ordered a Tidewe mini/875Y on Amazon for $60, plan on putting a few wide rubber bands around it to make it grippy to hold. Will figure out a way to make the lanyard work better than looping it around the eye piece. Maybe crazy glue or hot glue the lanyard to the unit.
Just getting into archery and have bought an old Diamond Edge SB-1. Looking into range finders and have seen your video, have you tested the Gogogo Sport Vpro GS06CA Camo 650Y/1200Y with green readout?
I have tested a gogogo in the past but I don’t think it was that model. Most of the units in this video would be better than the GoGoGo that o tested several years ago.
Just ordered the mini, thanks. to be clear - when using angle compensation - the adjusted yardage is what is displayed right? as opposed to it displaying the unadjusted yardage and the angle and you have to do the math?
@@TheBudgetSportsman So mine arrived and I mostly like it, however I'm disappointed that there is no spot to add a lanyard attachment. Seems like an important feature when you are up a tree. I may have to glue one on or something.
@youtoober87 I never use one so it wasn’t a big deal…and I forgot to mention it in the video. Mine came with a lanyard and no place to put it. Strange. The hr-f700 does have a lanyard attachment.
@@TheBudgetSportsman So I found some other videos. You are supposed to loop an included strap around the eye piece. Doesn't look like it would stay on very well. Either way mine didn't come with one. I'm returning it and getting a replacement since they can't just send me the strap. Seems like a good device otherwise
Prices tend to fluctuate often. There are sales from time to time and always a coupon code including mine. $45 is a great buy, but it’s not uncommon to get it for under $60
Rechargeable batteries are only as good as their service life. Once they're done, they're done. The tidewe chinesium lasted 9 months before it was unable to be charged. Buy quality. Pay once, cry once.
ok, thats strange, because I have had multiple TideWe ranger finders and haven't had battery issues with any of them...not only that. I can't even remember the last time I actually needed to charge one of them. The battery lasts forever.
