I'm affortunate, in my tropical country i don't need all the collection, just the light pants and light longsleeve shirt, a hat and maybe the mask and gloves... The sad part is: is not available in my country, had to pay a bit more for the shipping and to bring it from USA 😅😅😅, But i love the sTT strata camo.

At what point is it an attack? A charging grizzly at 12 steps doesn't count?
@richardkenworthy9312
@richardkenworthy9312 День назад
@TheBudgetSportsman it said ATTACKED.. The way I heard it was it was charging. To me it becomes an attack when it makes contact with whatever its charges at . A charge and a attack are 2 different things.

Have you checked out the tethrd grit sticks? Seems like their answer to the xop with all the benefits of the skeletors. Looking to pick up a set between these 3 and and curious of your opinion
@TheBudgetSportsman
@TheBudgetSportsman 2 дня назад
I have not had a chance to check out the grit sticks other than reading the specs online. The XOP sticks are cheaper (I have heard there are some coupon codes as well). However, if you don't replace the cam buckle straps you will end up being slightly heavier than the *advertised weight of the grit sticks and about the same as skeletors. If you replace the cam buckle straps you will probably be around the same weight as the Grit but you will probably eat up your cost savings buying replacement attachment methods. I guess you could leave the cam buckle straps and end up slightly heavier than the Grit sticks for less money... Personally, I think the Dynalock tab on all of the Tethrd Sticks is the best attachment method on the market. For that reason, I might be tempted to go with a Tethrd offering if there isn't any real price advantage. (A coupon might put the advantage toward XOP) BUT...I really like the way the skeletors fold. It makes packing a lot easier, and the angle steps feel really good on my feet. I own both skeletors and XOP X2 sticks and the Skeletors still were my stick of choice last hunting season. If you aren't an ounce counter, and a few extra dollars isn't going to break you, I would probably lean toward the skeletors. Just personal preferences. I think you will be fine no matter what you choose.

@@TheBudgetSportsman thanks for the reply, I actually found them when I was looking for the skeletors which are currently out of stock. I was considering them based on the tetherd features. I may try to hold out for the skeletors

From all of the MANY bear & moose stories that I heard while living for years in Alaska, this is the BEST! I'd like to add one of my own experiences. A group of us had 4-wheeled several miles into deep grizz country. We were camping & fishing for Graylings on a large but shallow lake. We were watching a huge bull moose wading/eating in the shallow edge when a MONSTEROUS sow grizz & her twin half grown cubs came ROARING out of the woods. One swipe from that sow's claws disembowled the moose. And while he was still kicking & trying to run, all 3 grizz started feasting on him. I got SO excited that I had to pee. But the bears were BETWEEN our boat & camp site. We knew not to draw attention to ourselves as we had. only brought a pistol with us on the canoe. Glancing over at a close by beavers dam, I motioned to paddle to it. And this 52 years young, 130 pound gal found out just how well a beavers home is built. 😂

This hunter is for real and went out to kill the wounded moose. I respect his actions and his knowledge. And he is as attacked…I’m glad he survived. My only problem with the story is that he spent more time dissing the client than talking about the bear attack. Yeah, the client was a dick, but didn’t this occur many years ago? Let it go! And I wouldn’t hand over the water and then keep complaining about it. You needed to stay hydrated to protect yourself and the client.
