It’s a nice sound, you said you didn’t play lead, but I think playing these Strats and bending your ready step in man, don’t be shy you can do. I think some of your new folks are from people spreading the word about how cool you and Clam Slammer Cathy are. You really show us the secrets. I ve been getting people I know to come in and I like cars too and I find friends who like fixing guitars to listen in. This relates because it’s just like rebuilding a carburetor right. The way it’s one step after another and that’s what makes it fun. It’s not rocket science like you said. These are the things that have to be right and this is how you make it right. It is a blast and thanks for letting me hang out here!

Position 2 is the full humbucker: 1/9k + 1/4.5k = 1/3k (full humbucker) 1/4.5k + 1/4.5k = 1/2.25k (half plus single coil)

Yeah Sean i bought one a month ago and mine was the same, just a little touchup on the fret edges, aand adjusting the action was it.. a set of real strings and this thing is a smokin' deal for the money.

So I took the black one you talked me into buying over to a guitar shop to have the neck set up, the pickup heights adjusted and a new set of strings put on. This guitar plays so good I even paid back the money I borrowed to buy it.

I just bought one of the light blue ones. Mine wasn't quite as well built. The tone knobs don't work and are loose, and the tuners had to be replaced because it wouldn't hold tune. Once those issues were remedied, it plays like a dream. It is my favorite guitar, at the moment.

Cathy is being kind by whacking you with an acoustic. She could have used a solid body, so consider yourself lucky! 🤣🤣🤣 Looks like a great value. Btw, video idea. Can you show us how to swap pickups without soldering? Can’t people use electrical tape or other safe methods? I think so many people would be more likely to try swapping pickups if they could make it work without having to buy soldering irons and stuff. A roll of electrical tape is like a buck or two. Could be helpful for people to see that electrical tape is a perfectly usable method. Same goes with shielding. Would help to see the cheapest and most effective ways to get that done. Just some thoughts! Let’s make modding more accessible and less costly for all!

I like how they kept the standard 3 knob set up but moved them back - No more accidentally hitting that volume knob! 😅 Also, it would be great if they offered one or 2 colors with a rosewood (or similar) fretboard like some of their competitors do.

To me them neck plate gaskets rob tone so I remove em too although I don't notice the unplugged difference but anyhoo... here's to another great video y'all! Pickups don't sound bad at all either!

Man, my Fesley came with a high second fret, high 11th fret, and nearly every other fret past the 15th high. Not enough to cause a huge issue playing it, but still...to see yours so smooth, I feel a bit ripped off.

I have 2 of these guitars, I love them. They sound great and the neck is fantastic. I am not a fan of the tuners and I wish they had jumbo fretts.

I was looking at the pink Les Paul version for around $175, but I don't know if I believe it's a Purpleheart fretboard or that those humbuckers are decent. Thoughts, or a way Fesley could have you demo that one? All the best, brother!

I have honestly thought about getting one of these in black, and routing it out for a Floyd Rose. Then turning it into my own "Frankenstein" with some stripes. Is the body wood too soft for that Sean? because you know them Floyd studs will not hold in soft wood. Just an Idea, and I like working on guitars!

I was told NEVER treat a maple fretboard! Usually has a thin finish, unless stated that it's unfinished. Of course it's whatever you like!

I am not a fan of black hardware. I think some companies use it because it looks more “modern”, but you can change all that stuff out pretty inexpensively.

The frets on the one I bought were sanded down too much. I measured the fret height at 1/32. When I measured all my other guitars they measured in around 2/32. I 'm not sure if this in an anomaly or if most of them are like this. Has anyone else noticed this?

I cheated, the Amazon product page indicates that position 4 is the middle pickup & the neck side 1/2 of the humbuckler as a coil split in the diagram as you scroll down on the web page. Should be in wired in parallel like the position 2 Single coils.

Shawn my Feasley the truss rod fell back in the neck i'm i screwed or is it a easy fix, the little plastic truss collar thing fell out as well, if i turn the guitar upside down the rod falls forward ,but doesnt seam too secure
