This is a great video. I just got the green one this morning. I'm on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. This is my first fast RC, it cost me NZ $121 on Temu, then saw if for NZ $90 on Ali Express. I'm inpressed with it's speed, even in grass. Great value for money really. I'm looking forward to getting others. Do you know, can you get other batteries for this that would last longer, or spares at least ?
Those rigs are cool with the power they have in all but I would much rather have one that looks like an original truck just built and moves like hell in the real world instead of those balloon tires and silly body.
They are pretty much the same, just different bodies and wheels :) I have a couple of brushless versions sitting in boxes waiting to be opened, they seem promising
I got one for my son he ran it about 30min on the lowest speed settings and the motor was very hot. Didn’t seem to damage anything but now I’m worried to try the higher speed settings. Anyone know if it’s normal for the motor to get so hot it burns to the touch on just the lowest speed settings?
My young son also has one and it too gets hot. I assume it’s due to having a brushed motor. We’ve ran it pretty hard on successive batteries and it keeps going. We have just broken the plastic drive shaft, so will replace with metal - he did a jump onto grass under throttle.
