After watching many pancake recipe videos, I decided on this one. I followed it exactly and they came out perfect! The pancakes were as good as they look in the video! Definitely recommend this recipe : )
Yes! I agree. And my mother in law reheated hers up later in the day just the smell from the reheating pancakes. Omg! 😱 delicious from the smell alone. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is by far one of the best buttermilk pancake recipe videos I’ve seen thus far!! I followed the exact instructions and the pancakes came out great!! 10 stars and definitely recommend this recipe for sure.
hello I tried your pancakes recipe and it is so delicious, they were soft and fluffy and with a delicious flavor and aroma without a doubt the best recipe I have ever tried thank you very much blessings
Doooooooooood! These are the best pancakes ever! Your explanation of the method and philosophy regarding combining the ingredients is key to making these. I've tried other recipes that have basically the same ingredients but without this mixing methodology. Super fluffy, light, spongy, and (of course) delicious. Thank you!
My family and I appreciate you sharing this for us. These are very delicious. The best pancakes I’ve made in a looooong time. Thank you Thank you. Happy tummy’s ❤❤❤❤
Are all of your dry ingredients measurements level or heaping? I’ve used level with good results but just wondered because I don’t think you say in the video.
After years of watching recipes I finally made my first American pancakes. I choose your recipe and they were delicious. Fluffy and yummy. 😊 Thanks for all tips and buttermilk substitute. Go on 😊
made them today (literally an hour ago) THEY ARE PERFECT, restaurant taste quality 5/5 i love them so much, they came out great with my whole wheat flour. i even doubled the recipe cuz alll your recipes come out amazing, thank you and God bless!!!!!
But I'm that weird person who likes my pancakes flat! I not only love crepes, but I've been known to change recipes to make the batter thinner to insure that my pancakes are thin!
Hello Sugar Spun Run. I hope that your day is a good one. Last week I tried your potato soup and it was terrific! It was the best potato soup I’ve ever had and my friends liked it too! This morning I made your buttermilk pancakes and was greater than or equally pleased! So I am a new subscriber. Thank you!
You need to add rye and corn flour to the recipe; this is how Aunt Jemima did hers, and they were superior. Unfortunately, I do not know the ratios, but I would say 2 parts wheat flour to one part each of corn and rye. The flavor is unique. Also, no vanilla. No. Finally, I used to mix my pancake batter in a blender until it was just smooth; my pancakes turned out perfectly. They are otherwise way too thick and need to be cooked for very long periods of time without risking raw centers.
Oh no! I’m so sorry! I can’t really control their algorithm, but I know interacting with the posts (even if it’s just a thumbs up) will help them show up more often, but that’s still not foolproof either. 😔 If you aren’t yet, you can join my email list from my website and you’ll never miss a new recipe. 😊
@@SugarSpunRun right! You were showing up in my feed, and i talked to you, on some of the recipes a week or so ago, but it won't load the notifications back that far. I found a sugar spun run group, with 8k members so clicked to add the group. What is your channel address? When i click from here or on your webpage, it takes me to the chrome browser, and won't load your page automatically. Some kind of weird frustration, lol!
Hi Sam! I appreciate all the breakfast videos you made from the waffles, crepes, bagels, pancakes, french toast, breakfast muffins, english muffins, breakfast desserts, & even to the toast video lol. So I must say do you have any plans to upload a fluffy scrambled eggs video to complete the breakfast category?
If I give it a try, I’ll report back, but your recipe with 2 cups of all purpose flour was amazing and loved by the whole family. Just knowing the trick to not mix the batter too much makes me feel so smart now that I can make perfect pancakes. Thanks for making the instructions almost fail proof.
I did try the recipe with half all purpose flour and half whole wheat flour. The results were good but using only all purpose white flour tastes better.
I make Buttermilk bread and use powdered buttermilk so I usually have powdered buttermilk on hand. I see you are mixing the eggs, liquid buttermilk, and vanilla extract together and add them to the flour afterwards. I'm curious if it is important to use liquid buttermilk and combine things in this order or if I can use the powdered buttermilk with the dry ingredients and then use milk with the eggs and vanilla.
Usually the powdered buttermilk normally gives instructions for use. Id follow that for best results. I don’t typically use it in my own kitchen so don’t really have the best idea of exactly how to use it
My wife and I are enjoying your videos! Do you have a good Coco-Pecan Pie recipe,? We have one we like, but would like to hear if you had your own version of it.
Delicious! I made these for my family. My 5 year old daughter requested pancakes for her special Daddy's Daughter Day and she said they were her favorite pancakes and Daddy loved them too. 😊
So glad I came across this recipe, it is by far the best pancake recipe for pancakes I have came across. I added both a little fresh squeezed lemon juice and the vanilla exact and it was outstanding.
I have made these 5 times in the last few months and they are so good , there’s a restaurant here in Los Angeles called Dupars , They have the best pancakes I have ever tasted …..until now , these are just as good they really are
BEST DAMN PANCAKES EVER. No restaurant can beat this recipe. I put blueberries when I pour the batter on the pan before I flip. I’ve made this recipe 3 times already so so so good.
Just made these this morning and this is a recipe going in my box of keepers! Too many recipes I've tried that are not consistent or claim to be fluffy but they aren't! I even had my husband try one, who isn't a pancake person, and he said it was so good by itself he didn't need syrup (he's not a sweets person either). I was wary at first because I thought I did over mix the batter but they were still so fluffy and I used butter to grease my pan and the edges were a bit crispy which was a delight. Thank you for sharing!
Oh yeah, by the way Sugar Spun Run. I had thick cut bacon with your amazing pancakes this morning. Although I could happily eat your pancakes and bacon every day, my doctor may not like it. She doesn’t live here anyway, so my gratitude remains strong! In fact, I advise thick cut bacon with your buttermilk pancakes to everyone!
Hi I have a question, I followed the recipe to the T! But my pancakes always came out doughy. I changed the temperature on my stovetop, changed my pans, I cooked my batter longer and it burned on the outside, but still doughy on the inside. I also mixed my batter a bit more. Nothing worked. What do you think I did wrong?
Omg this is the best recipe and the best pancakes😍😍👌👌just made some with half amount of the batter to test how it might turn out... And i am blown😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩it turned out REALLY amazing.. Following all the steps as said, and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious 😋😍😍👌👌🥞 this is amazing 😍😍thanku for the recipe 😊😊my brothers are asking me to make more of these😉🤗
Thanks for the recipe ma’am. My girlfriend only eats ihop buttermilk pancakes 🥞, so I figured I’d try this one. Fingers crossed 🤞 that she likes them. She’s a picky eater. I’m pretty sure I will. I just love pancakes 😋😋😌
Just a tip if you want them to not have the butter splatter look and look more like IHOP pancakes you need to wipe some of the butter out of the pan and not spray in between unless it’s sticky, it makes them more even and look better
You should see my husband do it. It’s almost comical. Making it smaller can help but don’t tell him that he needs giant pancakes. 😂😂😂 Keep practicing you’ll get it!
It looks like to use buttermilk powder you mix it with water. I would mix enough of the buttermilk powder with water according to your package instructions and use that. 😊
How i make pancakes is? Get a BOX of Hungry Jack buttermilk pancake mix. Just add water to the thickness you want > THAT IT> Cook those puppies up. best, easy, fast, less mess, pancakes ever
I have noticed I see this if I make my buttermilk substitute instead of using buttermilk, but they still seem to turn out nicely. I'm glad you still enjoyed them. :)
