I logged how quick I was able to turn a drink (Mountain Dew) into a slushy that was ambient temperature. (74F) Minutes Temperature of Drink Temp Deltas 0 74 N / A 16 59 15 31 50.5 8.5 46 42.4 8.1 63 35.4 7 75 33.6 1.8 93 28.2 5.4 143 28.3 -0.1 - 143 Minutes: 1/3 of drink was turned to slush - ~35F is temp of diminishing returns for a drink stored in a freezer fully submerged with REGULAR ice
@@DocterKankle That’s awesome! Great job! When I was a kid I used to put bottles of Gatorade into the freezer, with the goal of turning them into slushys. I eventually got the magic time figured out. I would put the room temperature bottle of Gatorade into the freezer, and have a slushy waiting for me later that day after the magic time (which I currently have no idea what it was, I don’t remember the magic time). It was great! So, I personally think what you have done is very useful! Enjoy the slushys!
