no you dont.. they fit pretty damn well on my bugeye.. obviously not perfect fitment.. but you cut off the little rubber behind the circle bits on the blob and hawkeye tailights, and they fit pretty sweet :)

Dez DeadlySkillzCrew, yeah these 2.0 engines are really robust. my Coworkers protune his with an 16g blouch,injectors,fuel pump,sti Tmic,CAI and E85 of course. making 388whp 350TQ 204k in original engine and is going to tune it again with tgv deletes,ELH tomei,bigger front mount looking to hit 425whp.

Kind of hit and miss my man, read up on forums and hear lots of opinions... I've owned my bugeye for about 6 months now and it is my first car. It's got 174,000 kms which is roughly 108,000 miles. 5000 of which I have put on myself which means it's due a service. Only problem I've had with the car is some valves in the exhaust manifold getting clogged with a small amount of dirt causing the throttle to stick and also making the car rev by itself as the throttle would get stuck open. BUT that being said I believe the reason it happened is because I did about an hours worth of offroading a few weeks ago. I believe the dirt came through the top mounted intercooler and into the throttle body. It depends a lot on not only how much money you have, but how much you will have in the future. If the car has high miles, there is more chance of things needing fixes or being replaced. But to get one with lower miles you pay more in the short term. Also the way you drive matters a lot to the reliability of the car. Yes it's fast but it doesn't mean you should always boost it, especially if it's cold. I don't drive it that hard so I think that plays into the fact I haven't had any problems with it. If you have any questions about ownership of one of these cars on a budget let me know

Does yours sound more raspy? I have a catless straight pipe and the sound isn't refined at all like his.

It's just more deeper not as raspy and I can hear the turbo I just have a muffler and a resonator, I want to take off the resonator but I don't want it to be too loud
