Ok I traveled with the monos backpack from Boston to Norway. And boston -Canada. I used it as my purse because I try not bringing any other bags when I travel. WAY TO HEAVY!!!! It looks amazing so if you need the looks, it is good. The bag Doesn’t fit underneath the seat and barely fits in the overhead compartment. This was NOT the case on my canada boston trip because those 1 hr planes are smaller so I was lucky the flight was not full so I just stacked it in one of the available seats. Looks: You are going to look very polished and the space is amazing, yes you can fit enough items unless you tend to travel with a few pair of shoes. In that case, I would not recommend it for winter travel where you might need different shoes. I would also not recommend the duffel I assume it will be as heavy as the backpack therefore more difficult to travel with. I am considering the suitcase as long as the size is airport friendly and it doesn’t get destroyed. I bought the beige color and I am not too careful and the backpack looks incredible still son it is durable. Let’s take care of our backs! The least attractive ones are the best option. Currently looking for a spacious soft duffel bag carry on with wheels. If you have recommendations for something like that (minimalist looking) let me know!

Went with the Samsonite Silhouette 17 carry on in silver polycarbonate, b/c the Monos and Rimowa were not expandable, and the Sam got rave reviews! Also got the Monos metro duffle in saddle tan, so thx for the honest review of how it fits over the handle, but that may not be an issue with use. Like that I can pop that little bag on the seat back during flight and have everything directly accessible. Looking forward to these 2 upgrades for ‘24!

Totally agree on the Monos trolley pass!

I have the Mono Bigger Carryon and skipped the trunk style simply because you have to pack so carefully. I gave up my compression cubes for the Clear ezpacking cubes. Game changer to see what is inside and give a tiny gap when zipped and just automatically compresses.

I have the monos luggage which I love BUT their duffel bag is so heavy and doesn’t fit under a seat , it looks very stylish but I sold it as I just couldn’t travel with it

Anyone else get miffed when premium price duffels are faux leather? I hate how faux leather inevitably flakes / cracks. Hard pass for me :(

Mono’s luggage is garbage, they have nonexistent customer service, no phone number, and they ship damaged/defective products. I emailed them right after my order over 3 weeks ago and still haven’t heard a single reply, let alone from my inquiries about returning their defective product. Stay away from this garbage, Chinese made brand.
