This was actually one of the best videos like ever. 1. There are many single line Military users, and with a Military discount, single lines become more feasible. 2. There are many family Military accounts, but the big 3 are not necessarily the best plans to go with even with a family of four. 3. The international calling, text, and data are important for those who deploy internationally, and you did give a special emphasis on those points. 4. The comparisons between Military discount and MVNO/Flanker brands is especially eye opening as more often than not the MVNO/Flanker brand was a better choice, EVEN WITH MILITARY discount.
I think once android phones do what Apple claims, and adds satellite chips, you may see options for military members to add services from starlink plausible unless they lock that to tesla phones only
YES!!!! Thank you so much. I don’t know if you saw my comment but I appreciate you taking the time to create this video. We don’t get paid a lot at least on the enlisted side and every dollar counts
This is a great video. I have Verizon with with my Wife and AT&T with all three of my kids since I have the iPhone I use both carriers. It saves me a lot of money since I am Military
Stetson, thank you for making this video. I has been watching your YT channel for long time because of the great informative content and plans updates you do, but never came across a video that apply to military and first responders until now. I am not sure if you have it, but I have browsed you website looking comparison for military and first responders plans with no luck. If possible can you make a category comparing such plans. Best of luck and keep the good work.
Hell yeah, thank you for doing this video. I'm in the market for a new cell phone provider and this will definitely help me make a more informed decision.
Hello, great video btw! However I'm currently on the T-Mobile MAGENTA PLUS Military plan and I didn't see this plan on your video. I plan to switch from this plan to the MAGENTA MAX Military plan because of the hotspot data, capability to use 5G data, and the unlimited premium data. I haven't talked to customer care but I was just wondering if you knew more about my current plan since it wasn't in your video and this is a more fairly recent video compared to others. It'd be great if you did! Other than that, keep up the great work!
Could you do an updated video on this since the big 3 only provide an auto pay discount if meeting specific requirements and also have made drastic changes in their plans? Especially tmobile trying to force customers into the latest plans? I'm current considering switching to Google Fi
Would love to see an update for this exact video. It's difficult to find a comparison of this niche. In my example, a single line, veteran discount eligible. Thanks!
AT&T raises their prices every couple of months and when your internet or power goes out it’s like 3 days for the electric company to get it fixed and AT&T charges so much so T-Mobile gets my vote thanks for what you do!
Thank you for this video, I have Firstnet Enhanced everything is uncapped the only downfall is the limited amount of devices supported by the network. You can use unlocked iPhones and unlocked pixel devices but you can not use unlocked Samsung devices. I ran into this issue with the S22 Ultra.
What I've noticed is that with T-Mobile; the military magenta Max plan provides more promotions such as $800 off the newest Samsung phone. With the regular magenta plan for instance right now a Samsung phone is going for $400 off.
I don’t usually comment on anything but I figured I save some of us military members some time. If you want the BEST service for at home in the states AND being overseas go AT&T. In addition, the price adds up to be the same if not, pretty close to all the competition for the performance. Talk and text work fine for all the companies BUT if your looking to use data at all AT&T works the best if not the only company that actually works. Again, I’ll reiterate it’s damn near the same price.
Hello! Can you do an updated version for 2024?- what are the best phone companies or plans to go for the military.? And maybe another video about what's the best phone deal 2024 for the military. thanks
Great well explained video Stetson! If my AT&T postpaid plan doesn’t work itself out soon I will more than likely go back to T Mobile 55+ plan. This is great information! Have an awesome Independence Day weekend Stetson! Always with full respect! Mark in Iowa.
I can't find any data on Google about US Mobile and the speed test of the 50GB hotspot speeds on a laptop tethered to a cellphone. Can you help me out? I really wanna get back to the vampire videogame Vrising on PC without over spending on Cox internet.
Stetson, how about international calling and international roaming comparison (emphasis on Europe) incl useful features like "call me free" on Ultra Mobile, etc.. Also keep in mind usually there's big difference between calling cell numbers vs landlines abroad.
If there's one thing we learned is that T-Mobile Magenta with Military discount (if you qualify) is easily the best and easiest option to recommend to most users looking for the best value for their money. (And happen to be on a strong T-Mobile market.)
When you speak about the streaming service, what does that means, because Verizon gives you Hulu Disney plus and ESPN+ i don't know the other's, but that's a lot don't you think?
Can you add in details on what parts of the USA have bad service? I feel like that is a big deal for families that move a lot. I would be really interested in knowing if the T-Mobile or Cricket savings worth it based on service availability.
RU-vid frequent watchers should go with T-Mobile, I think, as a better deal. AT&T would come in #2. A map of best coverage by AT&T and T-Mobile would also help, to make a better decision. @fucian made a good comment: "The problem with TMobile is it does not work on any bases in America or overseas. Travel to fort dix, and no TMobile service. Travel to camp parks, no T-Mobile service. That's huge. At&t works on most posts. Verizon is the same. T-Mobile may save you money but it doesn't work on many posts where at&t or verizon will work. You get what you pay for. Don't look at just price. Because if the phone you have doesn't work it's useless."
Verizon just nixed their "lifetime" military discounts to existing customers. Discount dropped from $80/month for 4 lines to just $25/month off for those same 4 lines. Their service has tanked as well. May want to make an update on this as many Vzw Military customers are jumping ship and shopping around.
Tmobile has some of the slowest... spotty network on military bases the reason they are the cheapest... att is the best for all around coverage.. speed and cost. They work for me... but subject to change per person. Verizon is the best for coverage and speed and you pay for it
T-Mobile includes 5GB of free international roaming per month in 210 supported countries & destinations in their Magenta MAX plan. Could be worth considering.
I get 25% off my Verizon service with my company discounts, not on their unlimited plans, they would take away my discount. Better than using my Military or First responders discount. They constantly try to move me over to their unlimited plans. Plus get additional 5% from US Bank Cash Plus Visa paying cellular bill each month.
Veterans should watch this video. I would likely not have switched from T-Mobile. But with T-Mobile, I have not gotten my offer discounts. I suggest you record your conversations for quality and training purposes. You should expect to be scammed, but hope for the best. I think a law should be passed so both the phone company and customer can record conversations for contracts without permission. Consumer protections should be better. Millions of $$ for scamming consumers.
thank god i live in India..... minimum plan Start from ₹200 (2.5$) a month with unlimited Internet.....1.5/day and unlimited calls....in any network.....all over India...😇
With FirstNet being the highest priority combined with being super cheap, anyone that’s NOT on FirstNet gets throttled down to the underplace. Definitely one of the reasons to try a different carrier if you’re not a first responder. It’s kinda shitty that personal FN lines are prioritized even when there is no emergency.
