Picture quality is pretty good & it has some good features. Great dashcam for the price, I'm definitely considering getting it.

I’ll admit I don’t have much experience with dash cams but for what this comes with feature wise for $99 seems like a steal.

What would you recommend to someone in my situation where the 128gb model is double the price over the 32gb model? The 32gb is quite affordable but the 128gb model is outrageously expensive in my region. Would the 32gb model be enough?

32gb is fine. Only situation I could see is if you had an incident on vacation or something and waited days to get the footage vs getting it after it happened.

Hey! Question... Can i connect the camera to my car hotspot instead of the 70mai hotspot? Cause im using phone hotspot for connecting to waze. Thanks!

Oh, and also- do i have to be connected through the app for it to record?

There’s no reason. You need to connect to it for the app. You don’t need to connect to get it to record. That’s just to review footage.
