Ive heard nothing but good things about Speed Engineering on the 5th gens. I agree with you on paying not $1600 for kooks. Everyone swears by them too. I went with BBK which were around $500 at the time.

Exactly I know a few people personally that got speed engineering headers on they 5th gens. They have a good reputation and good reviews.

I love the sound of the cold air intakes. They remind me of the old quadrants when you open the 4 barrels. No sound like it.

I got SE headers only issue with a bit of fitment issue but it was only 5 min fix. They would amazing with Borla Atak

Yep. Mines sit on the passenger frame and makes a vibrating noise ima bend them.

It’s not bad at all bro I’m 6’1 and have plenty room inside. I’m currently at 93K miles the car is still running perfect like the day I first got it. I issues at all except a simple misfire issue but I got it fixed.

Nothing major Just full bolt as for now. Might go supercharger or nitrous. I’m working on changing the looks right now. New wheels and exterior parts. I’m thinking about wrapping it too.

I’ve been debating between a 5th or 6th gen ss. For the price and room to mod I think this year my be the best choice for now. .
