I use their Runners Kit Bag regularly. It's a bit more minimal, but I love it. I've been thinking about getting a larger one. That SAR model is pretty nice.
Sometimes I carry a knife in the pistol compartment. I tie the end of the sheath to the loop so I just have to pull it out and it's good to go. Great breakdown, Craig. Good ideas here.
Which of my books did you pick up (I have written 3). HOpefully you already have Kevin's book too...he did a great job with that one. Yeah Man I love these chest kits from HPG. They are simple and useful and bomb proof...trifecta of kit.
@@NatureReliance I have Kevin's book, still working on it but I've bought a couple of other coos for friends too. I have your navigation book that you showed in the video
cool psk. you should write a gear book telling how much you like in a pack section. where did you get that ruler, i need one for my nav kit. Semper Fi.
What is the maximize size in inches you think can fit in that firearm compartment? What’s the width of the set up you have in there now and do you think it can fit more?
I ended up adding a Lil Larry (Nebo Light) in mine. Small, light and fits right into the webbing on the front. Got the idea from Patrick Rollins over at Randall’s. A lot less expensive...will see how it holds up.
Nah it holds up well. Anything you need to keep dry will be in a quality ziplock bag anyway as it should be. Some dude on ebay also sells a rain cover that looks kinda like a shower cap. If youre very concerned about rain that works great at keepimg everything nice and dry and it packs down like a bandana.
I spent a fortune on this specific chest gear rig, plus the shipping to my country but for the older model that does not have moles inside the pocket and outside the bag. Hill People should design this product as it is today from the beginning. I am disappointed!
