Great update but I’m afraid you’ve actually got that wrong you said the Northgate stands of the original Roman entrance to the fortress that is I’m afraid wrong the original entrance was in fact the eastgate where the clock now stands. Hope that helps. Good update though.

Again I’m sorry but you’ve totally got that wrong saying that the eastgate was only erected in 1768 as I said on my previous comment the eastgate first came about in Roman times and was the original entrance to the fortress leading up to the headquarters where St Peter’s church now stands by the cross. There was no mention about that. I’m not being funny it’s a great update but history has to be fact and based on truth and what actually happened otherwise it starts to become false information for the ones who actually want to learn about it. Just pointing that out. Yes the eastgate you see today was built in 1768 but you failed to even mention about the other ones the medieval one for and the Roman one. These are things you need to research more so people get the full facts. As I said I’m just saying what is right.
