🍴CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH INGREDIENTS:
►2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, softened
►1/2 cup granulated sugar
►1 cup light brown sugar (tightly packed)
►2 large eggs at room temperature
►2 tsp vanilla extract
►3 cups all-purpose flour (375 grams),
►1 tsp baking soda
►1 tsp salt
►2 cups (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
note: Recipe updated May 2020. We found the cookies to work best with 1 tsp baking soda instead and 1 tsp salt.

Natasha. I just tried these! Thanks they're awesome! Things I've learned Along the baking: 1. Butter and egg must be room temp. 2. Baking soda as leavening gives more dense and chewy cookies where as Baking powder gives cakey and puffy cookies 3. Cookies come out the oven are not done yet. They set after 10 minutes Thank you!

This recipe is legit. I have been binging trying out some of your recipes lately. The cookies are BOMB. I love that you don't have to refrigerate them before baking and that it is chewy while still being a bit crunchy on the sides. My youngest sister couldn't keep her hands off.

This recipe was full of surprises, pleasant ones. I wasn’t able to use my blender to mix the dough, it’s old like me, so I had to put my back into it. However, a good wooden spoon is like a magic wand. The recipe makes so many cookies and they tasted amazing! I made 20 cookies that day and 20 more the next day. They were so good my son substituted them for dinner, thank goodness he’s a grown man! The next day, after refrigeration, I let the dough come to room temperature (mostly), and it was still workable and it produced the same cookies as the day before! Amazing! They were delicious, big and soft - even three days later. This is the BEST chocolate chip cookie recipe I’ve used in years. Thanks for sharing.

I halved this recipe and it came out pretty good. I did three different types of Ghirardelli chocolate chips: milk chocolate, semi-sweet and bittersweet 60%. Since I used salted butter, I omitted the salt. Definitely making this again.

I'm always on the hunt for different chocolate chip cookie recipes. The texture and the amount of chocolate in these looks pretty good. 🙂 Giving the dough a day or two to "age" in the fridge really brings out the flavors. I do it with every recipe if I can wait.

Made these a few times the past month and they always came out so delicious; the time I made them, I used the hand mixer, and they came out just like they do in the video, thick and soft. Just finished baking your delicious cookies. They came out beautifully. This will be my go to recipe! Everything mixed well and looked right. I put the dough in the fridge for 2 hours and then made the balls of dough. I got 22 cookies out of this batch. And they're good size cookies. Just the right height. Thank you.

I tried making these tonight, and they were absolutely delicious!!!! Super easy and simple 😃 I was even able to substitute the flour for gluten free flour and they still turned out, which is always a toss up when I convert recipes. Thank you Natasha!!! 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪

Zoya Fatima I’m not sure what could have gone wrong. One thing that I do is once the dough has been mixed, I place the bowl in the fridge for about 5 minutes as it makes it easier to scoop it out with the ice cream scooper. I suggest you try the recipe again and see.

I've made this recipe so many times now. This recipe genuinely makes the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever tasted (especially compared to other RU-vid recipes). A few modifications I do: I melt the butter completely and use dark brown sugar in place of light brown sugar for maximum chewiness. Also, I add 1.5 tsp of salt and to get my eggs room temperature fast, I put them in a bowl of warm water. :3

I tried these for me and my family right now everyone thought that they would be bad because of my last cookies I made 😅 but when they came out of the oven they were delicious I loved them and my family. Also we are going to the beach tomorrow for my siblings game this will be a great treat in the car! I really recommend trying these cookies they are AMAZING!!!❤️ and thank you for sharing this recipe with me now my family won’t stop picking at the cookies😂 and as much they brought joy to my family they will to YOURS try the recipe you won’t regret!!!😊

These were amazing. The consistency of the dough is absolute perfection and I love that they are not ultra sweet but just right. I do have a convection oven so I baked at 325 for 13 minutes. No more flat cookies for me - this will be my go to recipe!
