today we take a basic overview of the MyPlsam controller software for CNC plasma. this system replaced my old Mach 3 setup which I was never really able to figure out. this system makes it easy to use and set parameters and can do more than what I need t for. this opened up the ability to use my plasma CNC quickly and easily and it is now fun to use

1. try click rotate button by right mouse button ;) 2. Orange line in import window it's not a limits or machine area - it's your material area and it helps for nesting

Hey mate you can rotate objects in my minicad and nest them in a group then send them to my plasm and nest them together to save material bigtime, love your work mate back to work haha

@@PrimeInk-dn8lx no I have not at this time. So far have not really needed it or figured out a good way to do that yet. My plan is to make some hard stops for my lateral yet to make it a bit easer. But have not got that far.

I built a 4x4 CNC with Mach 4 and it's worked well but is over the top for most things. Thinking on a small plasma build and want it to be something other guys can quickly learn on. I downloaded their apps and am impressed.@@letkemanfabworks619

I'm building a small CNC plasma table using v-slot extrusions and nema 17 motors for x,y,z axis. I'm at the stage where I will need to build the control system. I'm new to this and trying to decide what electronics to buy. Looks like I will need motor controllers (one per motor) a power supply, and a breakout board. However, I read a breakout board that connects to the computer via Ethernet is less prone to HF interference than one which only offers USB. Can you make any product suggestions for me or offer any advice? I would like to have torch height control. This software looks like a good choice. Thanks for the vid and info. Subscribed.

Thanks for watching. Some of the more pricy units use Ethernet and yes it dose help with HF however if you use shielded cable and keep the plasma machine as fas as posable from the table I have had no issue. It all come down to what you can afford. But this unit for the price and ease of use I would highly recommend.

Hello, your videos are very good and illustrative. What plasma cutter do you have connected to the CNC? I just received from Proma system the board and the interface with the voltage divider to mount on a CNC that I am making, haven't you had blocking problems in the Proma electronics due to the plasma frequencies? Greetings.

I am running a Primeweld cut 60 that is being used. I did have some interference early on but now I have my plasma cutter mounted as far away from my computer as posable and seems to have solved my problem.

That looks like some really simplified software, but it's sad it won't work for my table with servos let alone my controller runs on linux and the controlling PC is windows 10. But it would be nice to have such a simplified software like that.

What are you using for desinging that to resize a dfx you must redraw it? I use inkscape but i only use SVG in place of the Dxf file and none of that would require to redraw a design to scale it up just resize it and export it.

Hey thanks for watching. If you go through some of my other vids I have some of the table cutting. And yea it is nice and simple. As for the drawing I use Inkscape and fusion 360. And in this software you can scale your dxf in side the lay out “page” of the software by present or by length of ether the x or y axis. Really handy.

@@letkemanfabworks619 Very nice, I look forwared to watching some more videos you've made, Inkscape is about the only thing we have in common and I use inkscape for everything, Vector & Raster as many only knows it's a vector software but it can do other stuff as well as I learned in the 12 years of tinkering with that software. But thanks for the very quick response and again nice videos.

You wouldn't happen to have a pic of your controll box layout with what you have in it? Like stepper drivers, if you also purchase there voltage drop just something to get a layout idea. New to this

@@letkemanfabworks619that layout looks good, u remember what drivers u used 542,6600 etc. Open or close loop. I'm trying to get a list of stuff to order all at once. I have some of the stuff already.
