If you fly RC a lot it's inevitable. Even the best pilots have a bad day once in a while. Could be your engine cuts mid-flight, or your retractable landing gear won't deploy or a gust of wind catches you out. These are skilled pilots. They just had a bad day at the office.

It is so rewarding and comforting to see someone else crash instead of me for a change. I had a bad year for plane losses 🎃. Just kidding, I feel their pain! It’s no fun when anyone losses an airplane.

Totalled my new airfield 1450mm F4-U Corsair last Fridy. Trying too get my emotions together to move on to the next project. It was perfect, No more cheap Orange receivers, Spektrum all the way

As a RC warbird pilot for the last 35 years, I can still mess thing's up big style. If you don't keep up your concentration it can bite your bum.. lol. Wellington looked like it was tail heavy for sure. Happy flying everyone.

These are not all 2022 videos, I recognise some of these crashes from previous years. It just shows how good the UK pilots are if you can’t fill a single video for a years worth of flying misshaps.

@00:38 That looked tail heavy and eventually succumbed to the death tip stall. Sad. C47 was a weird one... Wondered if one of the engines lost power and it yawed. Lucky/skill to get it to the ground safely.

When you think of the money these guys have tied up in their aircraft this can be pretty painful to watch especially on the catastrophic crashes.

What happened with the C-47 @7:08? It looked like the engines were still running. Maybe a bad radio glitch?

@@dynevor6327 No, I think his elevator servo failed at some moments and did not work properly that day. I might be wrong, but that was my first thought

Tail heavy plane flies once Tail dragger grass landing is a LOSE LOSE all ways. U come on all 4s & get a ground loop. U touch on main & nose over,

I keep telling this information, DON'T TAKE OFF FROM GRASS, - OR- LAND ON GRASS! IT TEARS UP LANDING GEAR ON LANDING. GRASS GRABS LANDING GEAR ON TAKE OFF. MODELS PLANES THAT DON'T HAVE AT LEAST 4"Inch OR LARGER DIAMETER WHEELS , SHOULD NOT TAKE OFF FROM GRASS! Unless you just don't care how much work you will LOSE!
