Question for everyone. About to do a build and wanted to pair the 7800x3d with the 7900xtx. From what I have heard, it is better to pair the 7800x3d with the Nvidia line (4080 super or 4090). However, I do not really see this being true. I play primarily online games like Apex, COD, and rust, so wanted some input on this combo.
If your primary use for the PC is gaming, you can't go wrong with the 7800x3d. Best gaming CPU out there. If you have a much higher budget, the 13900K and 14900K are both great performing CPU's as well
am5 7500F + asrock b650m Hdv/m.2 is a cheap entry from amd and future proof too , motherboard can handle even 7950x 7500F is 7600x that got no igpu and is 100mhz slower for 179$ and motherboard is 93$

On the subject of mobos, could someone tell me if I should download and install the new bios, driver, and utility from the mobos website altogether, or just the bios first?
Bios, then see how everything runs even games after you download the video drivers. I wouldn't worry about utility so much unless its something there you need which one usually doesn't.
I bought a strix 4080 OC white edition from Newegg for $1049.. it is an open box card. But when i got it, all the plastics were still on the card. Do you think i shouldve just bought a 4080 super for same price and return this. Or this was it a good deal buying this card??
You're pairing the best gaming CPU with a top of the line 1440p GPU.. it'll handle fortnite really well. The benchmarks are available on here for this exact combination.
i'd say that might be the best combo for 1440p gaming and it's good value to performance too. maybe you can even dabble a bit into 4k with the new fs3 frame gen, although imo 1440p is the way to go in general
It depends on the setup ^^. The most important part of a setup is the motherboard. You need a good motherboard for your components to run at their best performance or close-to-best performance.

What about an R5 5600 / R7 5700X / I5 12600kf, in combination with an RX 6750XT? I don't know about the motherboard, nor the CPU, but it must be this video card.
I am planning a build with a 7800x3d and a 7900 xt (sapphire pulse) and not sure which models of motherboards I should be looking for. (Obviously AM5, but more talking about what allows my parts to perform as intended) I bought a 990 2tb pro from Samsung and I’m not sure if I need to do any research on motherboards that’ll be compatible with the high speed of the ssd, or if that’s even something for me to worry about in the first place
I have a similar build and I used a ASRock B650M Pro RS, I don’t believe you have to worry about your ssd being compatible but use pcpartpicker to find that out. That’s what I used to pick all my parts before I started building.
just make sure that you get a board that has a pcie gen 5 m2 slot for your 990 ssd. i got the 7800x3d too, and i'm planning on getting the asus tuf b650 plus wifi for it. it has gen 5 m2, even tho i won't use it myself as i plan on getting a 980 pro

What would it be your suggestions on pairing a 4070 super with either a 7600X or a 14600XF? i'm pretty sure that the performance of the Intel is bit higher but the cost and the fact that probably the socket will be replaced in the upcoming generatins while the AMD can be upgraded without replacing the board is also something that I've been thinking a lot
14900K, ASRock Nova and Zotac 4070 Ti Super has proven to be a beast of a performer. (64GB DDR5 Corsair ram). Lots of choices out there, but your recommendations seem to be based on who is sponsoring ($$) your channel...
Sadly I couldn’t get the brand of 7900 XTX so I ended up getting the 4070 Ti Super MSI Slim as I got it on sale. But honestly the 4070 Ti super is amazing and is more than enough to play anything.

@omarking4234 yeah I ended up building my PC with the same mother board and cpu I mentioned BUT I did spend a few more bucks on the gpu and went with a 7900 XT instead of thr 7800 XT & i havnt had a single problem running any game.
Couldn’t care less about RT and don’t use it whatsoever. Don’t care about DLSS because images always look better in a native resolution anyway. And don’t use frame generation because it introduces latency and isn’t helpful in the games I play.
ROG Apex Encore Z790 is a better board if you want to run higher speed ram kits as the Hero will not allow high clocks past 7600mhz if you are lucky to get a good board
I would always choose a non-X SKU from AMD because their performance is almost the same as the X-models but they're cheaper and come with a free cooler. My R7-5800X3D has been quite happy being cooled by both an AMD Wraith Spire RGB and AMD Wraith Prism. Both of these coolers cost me nothing so if you're making a new build, that $40 savings becomes a $60 savings. As a gamer, the only X670E motherboard that I would consider would be the ASRock X670E PG Lightning. It has all of the bells and whistles of the MSi board but has superior VRMs which give it better thermals than the MSi board.
I think people have misjudged the RTX 4060. It costs 50 more than the 7600, sure, but it has ray tracing cores, AI frame generation for smoother FPS, DLSS for improved performance, runs cool and uses only 115W (less electricity costs).
I am thinking of 4060 8GB RAM or try to buy > 8 GB ram, I saw some people say 8GB VRAM is not enough nowadays, is that true? what is your recommendation

intel i5 12400f, (the cheapest performance cpu) cheap b760 ddr4 motherboard (with PCI 4, m2 ssd) (Gigabyte b760 ds3h AX DDR4), ram: 16 or 32 gb DDR4 ram (make MHz/CL rate higher like 3600 mhz, cl18 something) psu: FSP brand is really good price value wise (check wattage on the internet, gpu power requirements are important), ssd: m2 ssd at least 250-500 GB for the system and some programs shift remaining money into GPU. hope this helps.
The CPU I want to use is the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, not so certain about motherboard or GPU, but it will be either the AMD 7900 XTX or the 4080, The motherboard I am looking for has to be able to support the CPU I am looking to use and be upgradeable to next gen AMD, It must have 4 Nvme SSD slots, that I will be able to use without comprising the Graphics card down from 16 to 8, I want to be able to use Gen4 Nvme SSD on it. and regarding the 4080, not certain which one is the best one to get that won't cause any trouble, so do you have any recommends for bot Motherboard and GPU?
I have a 5800x3d and 6800 xt. Game at 1440p and upscaled 4k. I want something with raw 4k horsepower, but I don’t need it. I’m not too impressed with the price to performance of current 4k cards. I’m just in limbo.
Question for anyone. I just bought a 7800x3d because my old processor was on its last legs. I have a 49” OLED 5120x1440p monitor and would like to run at high to ultra settings. Right now I’m using a GTX 1080Ti, but the frame rate is lagging on less demanding games. What would anyone suggest to pair with this CPU given the monitor size?
@@lavatr8322 i5 13600kf is a good option. You can pair it with a rtx 4060 ti 16gb and it'd be a decent enough rig to handle 3d workloads. 32gb DDR 3600mhz and minimum gen 4 nvme is also something I'd recommend. Also an A tire rated power supply so your system won't fail if you render something that stresses the system for hours or even days
umm i just ordered a r5 7600 + 4070 ti super my dealer said give a good taught as i wanted 4070ti super for 16gb vram but he is saying upgrade cpu too or settle at 4070 super ... which ironically will just make the jump more expensive than what i had in mind ...do note i have a g27q so 144hz 2k is my target i still have 2 years warranty left on that so only after that i want to move with high end 2k monitor along with the cpu and mobo so will r5 7600 and 4070 ti super get my above 120 fps or will the r5 7600 hold back the ti super?

i just got a 7800x3d and a 4080 super, still uncertain about the mobo, mainly considering the asus tuf gaming b650 plus wifi or the Gigabyte B650 AORUS Elite AX. i'll probably go for the asus one as it's difficult to get the gigabyte one at msrp (200 euros)
If you are spending that much money on the CPU and GPU, I think there’s no reason not to go for a high tier motherboard to properly utilize and protect your parts.

Nvidia has better overall performance than AMD all this time, and of course higher price tag. If you have no problem with money, go for Nvidia. But if you consider money, AMD might be an interest option..
I would not recommend any 40-series GPU's considering the amount of stories about the melted connectors and things alike. I recently upgraded to a 7800xt and honestly I don't think I'll ever need to upgrade in the next 5-7 years, at least. One major thing to note about the AMD 6000 series and onwards is that they support AFMF, fluid motion frames, which is a driver level so you can use it on any game. Think about it, if Hogwarts Legacy runs at 100fps on the 7800xt, with AFMF turned on you literally get 200fps. For games like Escape from tarkov AFMF is an absolute godsend and any latency incurred is totally negligible, you won't feel it. Well my 30 year old, seasoned competitive shooter, eyes don't feel it anyway. Currently rocking the 13600k with it also*.
I have a 7800 xt and 13600k which I got a while back. To be honest I regret it, I wish I got the Ryzen 5 7600 instead, could have saved some money and I didn’t end up needing as much multi core power as I thought I needed.

@@LoLClips365 it depends how much electricity costs for you. If you know your price per kilowatt hour and how long on average you would use your GPU, you can get a rough estimate of how much it would be. Compare prices of Nvidia and AMD

@sensei_... no I watch his videos when I am at home or when I am at work and if his video volume is high I turn down the volume on my TV or my phone. It really is that simple and there are many other pc or tech youtubers to watch and listen to.
1st combo has an overly expensive mobo that isnt needed this guy you guys shouldnt 100% listen too he allways goes overboard with shit that dont matter
