I like that the captain hand flies the plane above 10,000 feet. Most pilots in these videos act like they can't wait to flip on the autopilot! You can tell they love what they do and they ae good at what they do. They are extremely relaxed, but I have no doubt they are professional. I also like that the captain is constantly double-checking their flight plans with her first officer. Truly professional!

I love these two because they make it look so easy and they have a very comfortable way of talking to each other more like two good friends rather than Captain and 1st Officer. They really seem to enjoy the experience and flying together. They have my greatest respect and admiration.

I swear I’m binge watching all of these movies, they are addictive! I love this crew in particular! Inge and Claudia have such good personalities and know when to be serious and when to have a little bit of fun. I would definitely want to just listen to them and enjoy their company. I also love their accents, they are too good! Their little laughs are contagious! Thanks for flying the skies ladies, and thank you Air Clips for the movie!

True Story. I got to land in Hong Kong 1983 in Cathay Pacific L-1011 Super Tri-Star. I was 12 years old. The pilot was back with the passengers and saw my fathers' AOPA vest that he liked to wear. He was a private pilot. He had a Mooney 231. Worked for ARAMCO. anyway, the captain invited my mother and me into the cockpit for the landing. Amazing experience that I will treasure for life! Aussie pilot that was super cool! I wish I could go back and make better decisions with my life. Take it from someone who knows. Life is short! Listen to Pink Floyd-TIME. Wisdom in that song that I wished I had heeded.

I fully agree with u what a nice way 2 earn a living and having fun while doing it !! These two ladies R good they flew the last of the Real Airplanes !! Look what happened 2 the pilots of Air France flight 447 ?? Unbelievable and they were fully qualified 2 fly the jet eventhough they couldn't fly ?? Well they're still trying 2 figure out what's going on ?? However the Captain figured it out but by then it was 2 late !! R.I.P. GUYS, and may the good LORD bless you !!

Hi from Rockford Illinois,, UPS air & Amazon cargo hubs! Use to work for UPS, many year ago! Love my Inge and of course Cluadie!!! I know they cannot always fly together, BUT I SURE WISH they COULD!! They are awesome together...sending Much much love to Inge & Ccc. May God hold you and protect you always, that goes out too all pilots, co pilots, flight attendants, atc's, and everyone who makes this industry work, it hits the ground, ships to our trucker's and trains and ships so ALL people can have good lives, medical, food, clothes and jobs, on and on!! Absolutely superb! I could watch this series all day. Such genuine and normal women (who happen to fly enormous cargo planes!), and they have such a good working relationship, relaxed and casual when they can, but serious and focussed when it's needed. Would love to know what they're doing now, after the MD-11's were phased out of Lufthansa Cargo. Anyway, thank you Inge and Claudia, for allowing us to see a part of your world for a short while.

When I was growing up in the 60's & 70's believe me, there were no women pilots. No women dentists, very few women doctors and as a young female it struck me as very sad that women's offerings for careers were nurse, school teacher, or a secretary. These woman act like it is no big deal but it is. They are in an expanding career for women and should realize that they are role models and watching this just makes me feel so uplifted as a female. I've read books about women who got to fly cargo during the second world war and that helped to plant the seeds for future women pilots. These women are lucky enough to be living in a time where they have equal opportunity. It is a big deal.

Love love love you two!!! Must admit I always think the Captains more in control. They can take over flying anytime. But First Officer I see as in training for becoming a Captain. Possibly First Officer could have more flying time? Not sure. Please continue your videos xxxxxx

I get the feeling that Inge and Claudia are not acting for the camera - they have that happy rapport regardless. Professionalism is always present of course, despite the giggles! Interesting to see Capt. Inge hand-fly to almost FL300; none of this "400 feet, autopilot on" method ;) Disappointing to hear of the 2020 retirement of all Lufty MD-11s, but nothing lasts forever... Eagerly awaiting the next instalment: To Novosibirsk! Thank you ladies & Air-Clips.

This was a FANTASTIC video, probably the very best one I've ever seen about actually piloting a big commercial aircraft. I particularly liked how these women got along so well, not only with their tremendous ability and experience, but their obvious joy in working together. After watching all of their preparation prior to takeoff (a real learning experience in itself!), when they actually hit the throttle, it was almost as though I was in the cockpit with them. A real thrill.

Awesome video! If possible; please more video's with these two remarkable ladies! Love the positive interaction between captain and FO. The jokes and laughs are so fun to watch and hear, and they both get into "serious mode" when it's required. As a Dutch woman myself, I'm proud that Inge is the only female captain flying a MD11. And she's Dutch! (Goed zo Inge!👍🏻) I'm curious what both ladies will do when the MD11 stops flying in 2020.

Landing at 262 kilometers per hour is near the max speed of my BMW , no wonder I can hear the breathing increased from Captain and the smile from the little jolt on touch down. Well done Captain 👍👍
