Fun fact: my dnd campaign didn’t have any hinges on the doors because the players kept abusing it and using them to cheese puzzles.

Our party once spent 10 minutes checking the floor and the door for traps, only to determine that there where no traps. The floor and door where just ordinary. Thus lowering our guard and finding a trap immediately upon entering the other room.

Okay that's why pathfinder trap finding is superior because in dnd your movement slows down to a crawl because you roll 5 perception/investigation checks every tile then roll a little less when you're not finding anything. Then miss that one place the trap is and go back to having whole party roll perception every step. While in pathfinder DM rolls for you when it's relevant.

I believe he moved them all to TikTok and so I Came here to make this EXACT comment. If you saved any RU-vid links before he removed them. And click on them they pull to the shorts sections where you can make comments. I saw some comments made mere 3 hours ago on one of them. Don’t know what’s going on.

As a ranger, I can confirm that SOMETIMES we don't suck. I often outdamage our oath of conquest palidin, but that's mostly because he is always out of spell slots, and I play a kobold hoard breaker who dual weilds.

True facts about my first D&D 2nd Ed game in the 7th Grade in 19 7errr years ago... My best friends Human Wizard died getting into the Tavern we were meeting at cause he kept saying SPECIFICALLY "I walk through the door." My DM was an A-hole...and the Wiz took 2 damage and knocked himself out..he did that 3 times then RAN through the door and died cause neg 2 HP, bleeding damage, and getting robbed by a half orc thief, cause while I couldn't read his book, I could sell it, and bandages cost money, that could be used for beer. I wasn't asked back.

My ex once ran a campaign where the party only wanted to commit war crimes. So he secretly flipped the script on them and made them the villains. There were so many things that made it obvious, but no one picked up on it until the end when they were searching for the BBEG and couldn't find him anywhere 😂😂
