Yeah, I remember when you were talking about the Polaris tour that you weren’t a fan bc he sang out of key, I think I adds layers to the music but I’m not a musical guy
@@SamB-yj8is A massive part of music is the subjectivity of the sounds that you like. You’re not wrong for liking that particular vocal styling at all. It’s just a preference on my side.
Its the perfect album, IMO, although I wish it was a litter longer. Every track has its own unique take, the album flows beautifully, really engaging. Its incredible that its a debut album.
As a German who's usually not at all into German metalcore, I'm surprised and grateful for Avralize's refreshing work! On another note: Steve, have you checked out Thornhill's "The Dark Pool" yet? Give it a shot, you won't regret it. EDIT: Just watched your interview with Avralize. So you do know The Dark Pool, and it's also great to hear that Thornhill were one of the bigger inspirations for the German band. I should have figured 😁
