@@zerotheherolorcana I purchase the three decks and trove and gift bundle and one pack, opened a total of 16 packs, and I opened a enchanted Simba and a Mickey Mouse legendary, honestly trying to offload this Simba but no one’s touching these at the prices they are lol
I see one of's of each in some variations so very valid! I like two mirrors 1) to more consistently draw it and 2) in a control matchup i like to have two on my board for endgame!
@zerotheherolorcana I suppose you actually can draw two with the mirrors so maybe still valid. Ive been surprised how good items are in this game. Cauldron is actually stronger than it seems but you don't want more than one as drawing a seconds a dead card but it's similar to mirror, you may not get two cards a turn but you fix the one card you get.
2 lore maleficent is an aggro card meant for faster decks! This deck needs control elements that can challenge and win the board back or else it will lose to fast decks that run a lot of these tiny characters with high lore
Definitely a good combo as I mention in the combo section! Haha. I do like it, but most of the time I prefer it when I have high ink like in the 15-20 range, and in my experience running 1 of I sometimes see him by then!
This deck loses hard to lore rush decks. It's only answer to lore rush is Befuddle which really just delays the rush, and if you don't have Befuddle turn one it is gonna be an auto-lose to rush. Having no one ink characters, in my opinion, is a mistake. Even with a huge mulligan, half of your games you will have nothing to play turn one. Even if you DO start with Befuddle, if you go FIRST you still can't play anything your first turn.
It has more than just Befuddle, it has Gaston and Facilier at 2 and Rafiki at 3, Rafiki especially can quickly answer most aggro threats. From there you just have to hold them back until turn 7 Be Prepared and you can reset the board and take back control. Aggro is definitely difficult for this deck to handle though, and I did include the 1 drops in the potential cards you might consider adding if you're struggling against it! Thanks for the comment 😊
I think you don't understand how lore rush works. Lets say I go first. I play Lilo turn one. You do nothing because you don’t have Befuddle in your starting hand. Turn 2 I quest with Lilo and I put out Flynn . On your turn 2 you play Gaston or Dr. doesnt matter too much which. On turn 3 I quest with Lilo and Flynn for 4 lore (at a total of 6 now) and I play another Lilo and a bodyguard Simba. On your turn 3 if you dropped Gaston earlier he trades with Simba. If you dropped Dr he attacks but can’t kill Simba. Then you do what, play Rafiki and either kill one of the Lilos, or finish off Simba (who nearly kills Rafiki)? On my turn I quest for 4 again if you did Gaston, or 6 if you did Dr, now I am at 10 lore at least, possibly 12, and you are still at zero. The very short rest of the game is you trying to kill my small questers but I get to 20 lore very easily, and well before your turn 7’s Be Prepared. You might think your Rafikis and Mauis can keep up but not when I start dropping Cheshire Cat and Kuzko which will happily trade and are good questers themselves so just ignoring them isn’t an option when you are already so close to losing.
@@jartree You're presenting an edge case where you have 2 lilos a flynn and a simba while I don't get Befuddle. Still, in your scenario, I would turn 3 play Rafiki first and take out Simba, then use Gaston/Facilier to take out Lilo. You can quest for another 4 but I will likely wipe your board the following turn and develop further. Yes, there's a good chance you win if you can continue to mount the pressure but I also have a chance to come back if I get to Aladdin and Elsa. If you do win though do realize you highrolled the hand. Again, aggro is a difficult matchup but I think this deck has sufficient counter strategy and is more consistently in other matchups as well.
@@zerotheherolorcana there is no possible way for you to wipe the board the following turn with this deck. Getting a Lilo turn one is a little lucky but rest doesn't require much luck at all. You only run 3 befuddles so against a 4 Lilo deck you're gonna have the worse luck. It isn't an edge case and there are other cards that could fill the same roles and be in the same deck (Lefou instead of Flynn for instance). This deck does great in the late game IF you get the right cards but it loses too easily in the early and mid.
@@zerotheherolorcana I would also note I gave you plenty of edge cases too, gave you the cards you claimed would counter what I said. You have no guarantee of having a Rafiki turn 3 or a Gaston or Dr turn 2. And I let you assume you have a Be Prepared by turn 7 though you would likely have lost before then anyway.
