the prince Phillip challenging and then readying still allows for rechallenging if the damaged character isnt banished and readies again. plus the card just says ready and doesnt say he cant quest so you can attack multiple times then quest.
Right that's how I understood it, I mean I don't like this ability being tagged onto a 3 lore body, rather it just be questing 🤔 also the stats leave something to be desired still imo

I’m very disappointed that Treasure Planet only got one card in this set. And in my opinion, it’s baffling that out of all the characters from the underrated masterpiece Ravensburger could’ve included for Shimmering Skies, they had to go with just Scroop because he’s a character from the movie that you’d least expect to be the only one in a single set. At least it's better than the film not getting a card in a set at all, but still. The lack of cards that TP has been getting compared to the other popular and especially unpopular IPs is totally unacceptable, if you ask me. As a die-hard and passionate fan of the film, I’ll never tolerate that at all. It deserves as many cards as the other fan-favorite classics regardless of it’s box-office results, you know. I seriously hope that when the next set’s announced at the big D23 event in Anaheim this Friday during the Past, Present, and Future panel, it better get way more than it had gotten so far. 😤
Yeah I for sure am stumped on why they picked Scroop of all things to give a solo card too haha. At least we got some sweet Treasure Planet cards so far in the game, definitely hoping for more as well! 😁 maybe an enchanted in the future? 👀
@@zerotheherolorcana We already got two TP enchanted ones so far and both were only from Into the Inklands, which are Morph and the RLS Legacy. I really hope it'll get more of those. 🤞
You are reading Emerald Chromicon wrong. It can't return your banished cards to hand, because they are banished. It returns other cards. So when your opponent banishes one of your cards, you can return one of theirs to hand. Or save another of yours that is at risk.
@@zerotheherolorcana it's very strong but in a different way. It hurts basically only greedy control decks who can't answer it. But it is also very strong combined with daisy duck swinging from turn 2 and giving the opponent cards that will eventually be discarded. Same with you're welcome. Good news it does not hurt aggro/midrange decks who don't care about having 3 cards in hand for the rest of the game 😆

I am very curious to see its performance once the set releases now haha. Honestly I thought Diablo was going to be around B tier due to how removal it is so I have been terribly wrong in the past 😂 don't tell
Bruni is clearly A tier to S tier. It goes into pretty much any Amethyst deck. It replaces Dolores madrigal right away because its draw is not conditional and it is harder to remove than Dolores. A two lore evasive must be answered. It is slightly expensive but the card draw means you cannot hard counter it with madam medusa or let the storm rage on. And for situations where opponent cannot deal with him (did not draw or used direct removals on other cards), he is as good as any 4 ink card.
Looking at the S tiers in amber I don't think it compares haha but you may have convinced me to bump him into B in my list personally! I do like the draw effect and he does have to be answered, the cost does hurt him for me since he dies to small cost removal like Cannons/Baboom or GYS.. or if Emerald bounces him there's no draw. I could be wrong tho! I've been devastatingly so in the past 😅
In retrospect Floodborn Vanellope is probably closer to top of A tier, not quite on the same level as the other S tier hitters 😅 but what do y'all think? Let me know!
If you are looking more towards aggro I would run high lore questers and the bounce package - 1 cost Maleficent, 2 cost Pinocchio with 3 lore pips, etc., and Merlin Goat/Rabbit with Mim Fox/Snake. Minnie surfers would probably do well too. I would forget about the upper end cards like Be Prepared, tho maybe Madame Medusa would still do well. Be King Undisputed will still be a good card tho since Rabbit can sing it. Just initial thoughts :) if you send your list I could look in more detail!

Good Job but: 1. Rapunzel - enemy quested with her, but he just played her, 2. Ariel attack Gramma but for 1 dmg no 2 because of res from Cogs. Still well played! Sory if I made eng mistake :p

I don’t think it would have mattered anyway, but why didn’t your opponent gain two lore from using Robinhood to banish your cogsworth in the challenge?
I LOVE budget decks! Those are always the best kind of decks to play especially when you're just starting out. I started with a $30 Sapphire/Steel Deck last year, then spent another $30-$40 making Ruby/Emerald Evasive. Still like playing budget decks, but now that boosters and boxes are more accessible, I wanna see what I pull and try to make better decks. :)

Ok, I keep meaning to subscribe to this channel! I'm glad that I've been a part of this journey of this deck evolving! I've personally started evolving my Sapphire/Steel Deck quite a bit. I threw in 4 of the 1-cost Kit Cloudkicker and the Floodborn Kit Cloudkicker because they both got Ward AND on top of that, he can sing all the songs in the deck as needed!
I tested also a Version without new world,but the Deck needs to be build completly different, there is lesser room for tech Options, because your topdecks getting super akward.
I finally built the Sapphire/Steel Deck that is almost matched card for card per your deck. Some of the differences that I did was that I threw in 3 copies of I Find 'Em, I Smash 'Em for the mirror match, and against Ruby/Sapphire Items or SteelSong Flute. I threw in a playset of Smee for fodder, two Avalanche and two 7-cost Simba because I don't have the Big Tinks, Two Aurora Dreaming Guardian because no Cogsworth yet, I have two Judy as my stand-in until I get my other two copies of Hiram Flaversham. I also only have one Scuttle because that's all I pulled from my booster box sadly
For sure considering more Let it Gos or Hades 7.. that's true on Tamatoa but breaking a Quill or Dime is such a good setback, especially with more S/S players on the rise
You'll want item hate for Dime once people realize how good the new Ariel is. That's an easy 10 lore turn from just those 2 cards, and not hard to get the ink needed to do it.
@@zerotheherolorcana indeed. I wouldn't overdo the item hate, but I absolutely agree that teching a couple of cards for dealing with Items is a good idea. This is especially true when it doubles on a body that can quest and challenge.
2 beast hard headed is pretty good imo, 1 or 2 rise of the titans as well because people might also realize that rogue location decks have a chance into this meta.
Thank you!! The sleeves on their own are pretty bad, but I double sleeve them in Dragonshield clear matte outer sleeves and those feel way better :) just gotta get used to how thick your deck will feel! Haha
I wouldn't say I miss Smee but I've been finding Scuttle a little underwhelming, may try swapping them or maybe another 2 drop like the aerial Brooms 🤔
That is a weird line. Wouldn't you want to OJA on t2 and then on t3 drop quill ink and use quill and then with 2 extra ink play scuttle? Maximizing ink growth and tempo? Playing scuttle on 2 seems bad imo
@@maxwellschwartz1299 So following your line, you end turn 3 with 5 ink and a wet Scuttle. With my line, I end with 5 ink and an exerted Scuttle, but I also had 1 ink unused, so if Scuttle had hit Pawp or if I already had one in hand I would get to play that too, so more tempo. If I was worried about opponent challenging Scuttle like if they played Mim Fox or Smee then I'd be more inclined to play your line for sure :)
Saw this video on my home page and decided to check it out. I only have one copy of AWNW and no Giant Tinks and no Cogsworth. Do you think there are cheaper options to work with? Like 2-cost Noi for example?
Thanks for giving it a chance! It can definitely function without AWNW and Cogsworth, if you want it to stand a chance against very "meta" decks though it will be hard without Tinker Bells and some higher cost cards. If budget is an issue I would consider trying maybe Amethyst/Emerald Aggro or Amber/Emerald Discard, they have more flexibility with low cost cards :)
@@zerotheherolorcana Yeah there are certain cards that I still don't own yet... Funny thing is that I can ALMOST build the deck card for card per your deck! A couple cards that I've considered throwing in while watching the video are these: - 2 Aurora Dreaming Guardian so that everyone on board gets Ward - Avalanche since Giant Tink is out of the question - Dreamborn Steel Simba - Noi since he gets Ward AND Resist +1 whilst an item's on board I'll see how I build this deck

I wouldn’t call this a Bucky killer just based off this. Your opponent is playing a jank version with Prince John’s. And he also never even had Bucky on turn 2.
I'm being presumptious for sure haha, I will say in my prior testing too I like the matchup! Will have to see how it fares in the upcoming store championships!
