AutoNetwork the Cx9 grand touring is being my budget. So I'm looking at the cx9 touring trim along with the fully loaded santa Fe. So between those two which would you pick? Santa Fe is fully loaded by mazda has better quality interiors

Of course if you review the car before you drive it is nice and seem flawless. Must review after the first 60,000 miles. That is more accurate.

Even if that was the case, every Hyundai comes with a 10 year 100,000 power train warranty, so it would be replaced with a new transmission for you.

spoke to a lot of taxi drivers who clock in 100,000 to 300,000 miles on their cars and most agree not to buy a Hyundai because they break down around 60,000 miles on transmissions and other major stuff. I m sorry to say because I like to buy a Korean car, but Korean car makers are not there yet. Toyo and Hondas still go over 100,000 miles without a major breakdown. Hyundai get your act together. Also, when you go to sell your cars the resale value on a japnee car is $5,000.00 over a Korean brand. Need I say more.

In all due respect, andrew your taxi driver friends are not technological nor automotive experts. They may be familiar with the fleet vehicles they drive but are just that, drivers. Do some real research on the facts and you will learn that neither the Hyundai nor Kia are prone to any such mechanical failures. The two aforementioned South Korean manufacturers are world wide distributors with dealerships in all first world markets. Customer satisfaction and warranty services are well above average and are cause for the Japanese to rethink their product lines. Don't believe me, learn from the experts, they will tell you the same.

Please Korean engineers make a better transmissions. Its your job to make a better car not the workers who build the cars. When even Koreans do not buy Korean cars there is a quality issue.
