Upgrading the bike is cool and all but people these days care more about upgrading than actually riding

Best upgrade I have ever done is get Hinson clutch disks and steels. Hinson Clutch springs and pressure plate; but keep stock basket and hub. Made the clutch hook up much more giving a feeling of a beefier bottom end. Plus you don't have to worry about the clutch breaking easy; and it also improves starts!

The best upgrade is to get on the dang thing and find the weak point by riding it, and then upgrade it.

Massive power gains from a pipe??? Has anyone actually dyno a stock system before spending $$$$$$ on a pipe to gain 1 to maybe 5 hp. Wanna get faster/better spend money on fuel/oil and basic maintenance.

Most of these are pointless. Especially including the stand, you can just use a shitty old couch for that. Changing the exhaust is pointless unless you're forced to have a non-spark tip, as all it does is change the sound of your bike, and the only way you're going to get any performance benefit is a full system, which they are usually illegal, cost a shit ton of money, and require a new tune on the engine. Stock handlebars are fine, the chain is fine, and the only real upgrade I'd ever do to that is a spring chain tensioner and maybe an earlier swap rather than going with the factory service interval, and then doing the normal service intervals with the new chain. Best dirtbike upgrade is a helmet because that's what is protecting you. The 2nd best thing you can do is get waterproof gear to keep mud from making you feel nasty, the 3rd thing is any performance mods, like carbs, cylinder heads, and if you're up to it, nitrous. Performance always comes last, because safety and how much you can enjoy your ride is what matters *Note if you feel better riding completely naked, as in balls out and ass crack showing then yes, that matters too, you go do that.

The only trick bike parts on your bike is you because you let her trick you into buying shit that you do not need. She is used to tricking guys into getting guys to do things for her.
